Hi MMPokerNab,
Great blog and I look forward to reading about how you got on in October and this month.
Have you looked at the bank roll challenge yet? https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=325001
Welcome and my regards

Hi everyone,
long time no see. ![]()
A lot has happened.. to everyone. But I hope I find you all well, or at least still in good spirit.
Poker has somehow found its way back into my life so I've decided to casually start playing again. I have so many fond memories, so many interesting life lessons that I have learned by playing poker.. - really it has influenced me greatly and I never expected that. I'm glad I have the opportunity to play it again.
Talk to you later. This time I will try to actually stick around and write. ![]()
Happy to be back,

Hi MMPokerNab
Welcome back to PokerStrategy.com!
Best of luck at the tables! :gl:,

Hi Vorpal, nice to see a familiar nickname! Hope you're doing well.
I've renamed my thread Slowpoke found poker (again)! @nl5 since I am not playing NL20 anymore. I expect it will take me quite some time to be back to those dizzying highs.
SPeaking of limits - here's my plan! My poker goal is to reach the highest possible limit that I can, while having fun and without going busto.
I'm currently playing on 1 standard $0.02/$0.05 6 max NLHE table on PokerStars and have a bankroll of $51.58.
Previously, I've used the 100 BI bankroll-management strategy that I've learned about from pokerstrategy, but I won't be using it this time around. I'll take shots at a higher limit when I have at least 20 BIs for that limit. That seems reasonable.
Anyway, that's all for today! Thanks for stopping by dear reader.
Morning,
I've finally gotten to 1k hands! It took me a while since I didn't play much, I think my average session is about 1,5h. Opponents are mostly Russians and today I'm guessing eastern ones, since it was 7 AM CET.
Most importantly, I'm still having fun. I'm happy that I'm playing the limits that I am; losing money isn't an issue, but I still want to win.
It was always hard for me not to think of my bankroll as my money, my savings, my collection of shiny coins that I want to accumulate and hoard. Possibly not the best mindset.
But I think that's in the OK range of things.
I wanted to share my graph, it's in the spoiler.

Like Rudy says.. sometimes it does you good to go out, dig a hole in the ground and just sit in it like a carrot for an hour.
Him saying that always makes me laugh and then it makes me think. Take care!

Hi MMPokerNab,
Well, of course your bankroll is money, but it is money that you've set aside that can be used for poker.

You must want to win, but not get upset of you lose.
Rather a nice graph, by the way...

Hey guys, welcome back.
I've had 2 days in a row of playing poker and it was great to play, a lot of fun. I'm still single-tabling and not doing any table selection. I've never really bothered with table selection. At some point I'll think about how I would go about doing it. For now I do mark players who I consider to be of low skill with green color and if a green mark popped out while I was looking for a table, I'd more likely than not prefer to join that table. More on that later.
I'd like to share 2 hands today. One I think I played OK and the other I think I played terribly. See if you can spot which is which. ![]()

Hi MMPokerNab,
Well, you could always hire AgapieGheorghe to format 'em for ya ![]()
There's a few online converters available:

Hello friendpicksd
Maybe a idea to introduce yourself here. Than we know you better.
Nice to meet everyone. This is the first time i decided to put in the work. My poker game has been trash. I make bad decisions constantly. Losing bankroll after bankroll. Now its time for me to make friends, put in effort, and get chipping
