I prefer to find a reg when I want to practise. So I can test some things and adapt.

I wont publish my note system. I invest a lot of time to improve it and I dont want to publish it for free. I can offer you that you show me your note system and I can help you to improve it.

When fighting regs we need more than just standardlines. Its also important to make a lot of adaptions and pay attention to your image. I try to focus on how to create a image which I image to influence villains. Its still a lot of work to do but Im sure I will manage it.

what is your plan on the flop for the rest of the hand (and why)? Villain was a reg w a low cbet flop stat (that is why I donked).

You have the nut straight on a board w/ no flush draws, and villains seems to like it too -- so call is good. Plan would be bet small on turn -- slightly less than 1/2 pot, with a view to building a pot.Turn: ($80.00, 2 players) 6♣
Hero checks, SB checks
Villain didn't bet, so we missed some value. If villain has an A -- especially if he has hit the flop we can make good $, I thinkRiver: ($80.00, 2 players) 7♦
Hero ?
I would bet here an amount just less than 1/2 pot, hoping I look like I'm taking a stab at the pot. I would shove any re-raise. I don't like checking -- we don't want villain to see a showdown for free with all the hands in his range that could call a bet.Good blog!
Interesting hands, especially since NL 100 is way above my pay grade!

Thanks for your detailed thoughts. Villains seems to level a lot so I made a small bet to induce something and it worked. I would give villain tp+ hands or simply nothing. He should call w all 2ndpairs. On the river the best play should be to check because villains range is polarised most of the time. When villain has a strong hand cR is best and when villain has air checking is also best. So I checked and villain shoved w pure air.

OTF The plan is to build a pot, since there are a lot of hands villain calls with -- overpairs, overcards, straight draws, possibly even back-door flush draws.
The turn and river are just about the worst possible. For myself, at the limits I play, I would check the river, or at most bet just under 1/2 pot to give the appearance of an attempt at a bluff induce. Overpairs might still call such a bet -- some villains might even bet them. The low FH might just call, but if he has a 7 in his hand we're toast. How I respond to the shove depends too much on who the player is to make a statement about that.

I was sick (sinusitis) in the last 2 weeks so that I played no poker. The good thing was that I had some time to think deeply and read more than I usually do. I updated my ranges and made new strategys for beating regs.

We should b/f the river 1/2 pot for thin value vs pp and Ax
