Well, Sorvolo, it's very important to bear in mind the assumptions we make at the beginning of the class: we don't know the BB. So how can we determine how many hands we should be playing against an unknown opponent without knowing what his tendencies are? I would rather give starting players reasonable ranges to play than just say "you need to play about 80% of hands in this position when folded to you", without them knowing how to achieve that % or what to do when they face a 3b or flop third pair etc. 
As you improve and as you get more information, for sure you will want to expand your range

Hey Ivan95, if you scroll up to the first page of this thread you'll find some starting ranges. They're fairly cautious ranges, assuming a basic understanding of poker. If you're more competent you can go wider, of course. Best of luck!
No, it's rather the opposite. At the lower limits you can play tighter because people make much bigger mistakes so you can wait for more straightforward spots. At higher buyins, people steal more and therefore must you must defend wider.

Waiting for straightforward spots doesn't imply that the ranges need to be significantly tighter. Rather, they should be unbalanced and contain more thin value instead of bluffs.
No, tonypmm, you're right. It doesn't imply that you should play tighter ranges. What I meant to say is that, when we expect to get paid off on our good hands, it allows us to pass up on some much thinner +EV spots where we're likely to get into difficulties due to our lack of experience.

I normally minraise from all positions, although some pros favour making a bigger raise from SB to give the player in position worse odds for calling wide. Both approaches have their merits.

I think you mean, when you have #bbs under 10 (i.e. single figure) should we play push or fold? If so, then mostly, "yes", especially at lower limits. You can limp some hands HU as long as your opponent does not attack you too wide.

I'm sorry - I don't understand this. Is it a question about hand rankings?

No, not always. The wider a player open raises, the weaker his opening range. This means you can 3b smaller (~2.5x) both as a bluff and for value. I wouldn't make small 3bs with small pairs, however.

Hi tim. With the changes to spins with the increased top end prize pool have the games become a lot harder to grind overall now?
Hey mute20. Better ask some full time Spin grinders for their opinion, but I think the effect of the change will be only minimal since game quality is a much bigger issue than the exact amounts and division of the top 3 prizes. These prizes are so rare you basically have to beat the game without them. And for that you need the right skills and the right reg:recreational ratio. I expect 10k* prize pools will bring in more recs for a while, but that 60s-100s will continue to be very tough indeed to beat long term unless there is a rake reduction.

The 'grindability' has hardly ever changed - the vast majority of the ROI came from the low multipliers (2x-10x) and it still does. The only difference is that the top jackpot is 3.3 times bigger and will be hit 3.3 times less often, which might cause psychological issues if you were dreaming of shipping big within a year or two, but that's just a wrong mindset to have - as I've said, the binks would be a small fraction of your expected profit anyway in the long run. Due to that, spins remain way more 'grindable' than kilofield MTTs 
Have you seen, there are now three limits where you can win a million? $0.5, $5 and $100.
I wanted $2M 10s this time, but $1M 5s are fine too because they likely won't be absorbing 30s and maybe 15s regs. 7s regs will surely be grinding 5s now, though, due to the improved (less swingy) payout structure
