Why not? Most of the time you've got 14 outs. If he's got a high pocket pair it's a coinflip. If he's got two high cards like AK or KQ you're ahead a long way. Only thing you've got to fear is a set of deuces or fives (then you're only about 40%) or a set of sixes (you've got about 30%).

you have enough equity to call his shove.
given a range that includes overpairs, sets, straight, Flushdraws and 2 pairs,
you have roundabout 50%.

hi if he shoves theirs no other option then call .
your hand is very strong equity wise and might best right on the flop against this player
