I'm using the beginners sh strategy which tells me to use call20 with pocket pairs less than QQ pre-flop, so I called.
flop
I flop the set, and not really sure if I should bet here since I wasn't the one who raised pre-flop, so I just check hoping someone bets and then I can raise, but they all check.
turn
I bet 2/3 of the pot after not betting last time, feeling some regret for not betting on the flop. CO calling me so I'm guessing he must have some kind of draw.
river
I bet again 2/3 pot on the river, and CO raises me 3x my bet. I'm scared he has hit a flush on the river card since he only checked the flop but called the turn after a spade showed up, and then raises me on the river. Looking back I'm wondering if this wasn't a really dumb move on my part and that chances are much lower than I think that he has the flush (or a straight now that I look at it again).
I'm really new, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
