Hi SvenBe,

how are you doing? I'm doing pretty well. I have a look at the Bankroll Challenge.

There are some interesting hands.

Just bad luck. I could have used a better sizing OTF. Otherwise, I would never been folding such hand on this particular board.

Spoiler

WPN, $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 4 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: $25.24 (101 bb)
Hero (BB): $47.12 (188.5 bb)
CO: $28.06 (112.2 bb)
BTN: $66.08 (264.3 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A A
CO folds, BTN raises to $0.75, SB raises to $2.50, Hero raises to $7, BTN calls $6.25, SB calls $4.50

Flop: ($21) 3 6 8 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $9.97, BTN folds, SB raises to $18.24 and is all-in, Hero calls $8.27

Turn: ($57.48) K (2 players, 1 is all-in)
River: ($57.48) Q (2 players, 1 is all-in)

Results: $57.48 pot ($2.00 rake)
Final Board: 3 6 8 K Q
SB showed 8 8 and won $55.48 ($30.24 net)
Hero showed A A and lost (-$25.24 net)
BTN mucked and lost (-$7 net)

I should have 3bet this guy PF I guess. I thought that re-raising OTF would be the best in that spot.

Hm, with Holdem Manager you should have it super easy to convert hands into forum readable format - you are sure you tried via HM2?

I feel like I have to post here my crying post. I cannot say that this always happens to me but it happens almost every day. Do you know the feeling when you run your favourite poker client and once you get started playing you see in your window two kings? Your mouth opens wide into the smile and you are ready to get into action then you 3bet the guy who just opened and you quietly expected him to fold but he decided to 4bet, you are asking yourself: "What does he do it with? What does he have?" Then you realize that the guy is an aggro maniac who likes going crazy with any hand and you are excited about it and decide to jam. He shows AKs and you're very happy about it because he still might have aces :-D. Then board comes and OTF you see the A and your happiness gets instantly crushed. Well, I've got used to this because this just happens in poker but what I cannot get used to is to start my sessions where I am after 30 minutes of playing -60/-100 bucks at once. I don't know whether this is normal or not but it happens to me very often. I have no troubles to get my money back slowly and even thoguh I'm getting used to it - these situations are hard. When I saw my graph going deeply down and the number which was red was showing -150 bucks, I thought it was my end. I'm sure I was tilting in that time and I made a few spews. Anyway, this no longer happens to me.

So, everything that is bad can be good for something else.

There is how my sessions look like

He, this hand with AK, where you raise pre and Bet-call the flop - you're sure that is played alright?

Anyways, with KK, it is sometimes just:

Hey, that was definitely a bad play with the AK. I should have folded it. Probably, I could just x/f OTF.

This happens when you fight a huge pot against a fish and you have over 90% EQ

Anyway, this bad luck has been forgotten. I finally managed to get over my shit runs and spews. :profit:

After 24k hands I'm a winning player. I hope I'll keep it up going. This is how it looks when you have bad runs and do as many spews as possible. The most important thing is not to give up and keep your mind clear.

This week was an epic one. I'm really satisfied with my results and my play. Although, I made a few spews I mostly played very well. I feel like I've incredibly improved my game and mindset recently. I hope I'll keep the good results and my gameplay.

The overall stats
A♠: Starting BR: $400
2♠: Currently BR: $1250
3♠: Hands played: 26299 (The hands from PS are NOT included)

Alright ladies and gentlemen, the working week is almost finished for me. I usually play from Monday to Saturday, the last week I played from Monday to Sunday and it didn't go well on Sunday so I decided to not to play on Sunday. I'll play 6 days a week and Sunday is going to be my day off. This week was pretty much a good one. I played well but I made a lot of mistakes yesterday and I was also unlucky. If you look at my graph you will see a big jump it is because I tried playing at NL50/100 when there were no running tables at NL25. I was kinda unlucky because when I had aces or kings I basically lost. The biggest joke was when I had aces (A in spades) and I went all-in PF against a guy with kings (K in spades) there were 3 low cards OTF in spades and I had over 95% EQ OTT when OTR came king of diamonds/hearts - not sure. Anyway, I lost the hand. I was really mad. I usually don't get mad at all but playing at NL50 is something different than NL25 for me. It seems as the next week I'll start shoting NL50 because I have the proper BR for it.

There is just one rule that I DO HAVE TO OBEY(no matter what) - NOT GOING TO PLAY AT NL100 UNLESS I HAVE A PROPER BR

The overall stats
A♠: Starting BR: $400
2♠: Currently BR: $1780
3♠: Hands played: 39122

:f_biggrin: it's hard not to play there when it's 2PM and I have no running tables of NL25. Anyway, the shots didn't go well at NL50 and eventually I drop from 1700 bucks to 500bucks. I lost 400bucks at NL50 and the rest at NL25. Suckouts as fu**

I see you have same ups and downs like I do. You have really aggressive style so these swings are usual just keep the hard wrk up and :gl:

Hey Tyradiel, what's up? :-P

I agree with that! I do like having action. I get easily bored if I have to fold so I try playing way aggressive but I had to stop doing some crazy stuff. I ended up losing too much money and when I drop to 400 bucks I had to think about my game. I sometimes wasn't simply lucky but I also did many spews.

Hey guys,

this is going to be a short update. I try to keep playing around 2k hands a day although it should bring :profit: so it has seemed to bring the opposite :why: . The interesting thing is that I am able to start a session being in profit but eventually I end up losing tons of money. I have been wondering why this always happens. Well, the reason seems to be pretty easy. In almost every session I have a break point in which I put myself into a non-thinking machine that makes lots of mistakes. Basically, this means that I play really weak hands OOP  , or I start calling way too much hands   , or I overplay my OP even though I know that my opponents don't raise me with the rubbish hands  :why: . This has to stop. Once I success, I'll be a great and winning player.

Since tomorrow, this all will be over. I'm going to focus on my biggest leaks. The overplays won't happen again. There is the right time to get my BR over $1k once again and start crushing the fish at NL50. I'm going to play this limit at regular basis till the end of this year. I have to prepare myself for playing NL100 which I want to play next year.

Alright ladies,

this is how it looks when I stop doing spews and focus on my A-game. This is the first time that I like my RL. I'm proud of myself. As long as I keep my A-game, I'll be fully satisfied. My BR has been revitalized. I'm just sitting on 796 bucks and tomorrow I'm going to receive my weekly bonus which is 100 bucks. So I'll be sitting on 900 bucks. I feel like till the end of this month I might be shoting NL50 once again.

Hey buddy, what's up?

Because I didn't manage to make enough money for living I had to start working. I have absolutely no time right noe for playing. Therefore I decided not to play poker unless I make $2k which I then put in poker and start playing nl50 and hopefully I will be able to make enough money for living.
