Since starting the challenge it's been an uphill climb.

Zoom has been a lot easier than I thought. I had a person come to me today and did something that was out of the ordinary for me. He asked me to teach him and within 15mins asked for 5 straight hours!!!!! I guess he was really keen on learning and learning a lot. :D I think I drank 5 bottles of water and pissed 2 times during that session. LOL

This game can be very profitable still!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just make sure you don't know what you're doing at the tables... Because you will be harder to read...

@Pkrpains - Hi Emis! Welcome aboard! You are a great person to work with and I expect good things to come in your future! (BTW, no you're not 1hr late, you're just on time!!!) Now start blogging again! ;)

@M1rCea - I'll try to keep things to a minimal and not share too much secrets. Send me your screen name so I can avoid you at the tables.

@varune - You really have to play like a monkey and get paid off every hand you have. It's always nice to move up and run good obviously! :)

Zoom will take some time because for the first 10k hands or so you are playing with a whole bunch of unknowns. It's really hard to get reads on people. When we have a good sample then things will move in the right direction! ;)

Really had to take some time off and couldn't grind much.

But I'm trying really hard because of some issues with my eyes I'm not able to grind as much as I would like to.

Typical day in the life of BSB. :) This is for the challenge only.

Value betting and getting paid 101.

:profit:

Not much happening when you cannot get the grind in. Bankroll is in good shape.

Combined it's at almost 6.4k! This month 100NL and 100NL Zoom.

For the challenge we're nearing 40k hands. I know, I know... Volume sucks. Can't do much about it with my busy schedule. We might have to work overtime come January/February. It would be nice to be able to put 200k hands in a month. Those days are gone though. :( Too old for that!

I have a decent bankroll so I figured why not take a few shots at 200NL if tables are good.

Only one hand and it was against an unknown.

Tough spot. When he bet this sizing it was kinda weird. Had he bet standard 1/3 to 1/2 pot, I'd say FML... And then call... :)

I will give anyone $20 if they can guess what hand villian showed up with.

Bankroll now at 6.6k and I might have to risk taking shots at 200nl since my volume is so low I would like to have one good upswing and start shooting higher. :) We'll use 5bi BRM shot for 200nl.

In terms of taking more aggressive shots... I'll be very comfortable... I'll be playing only 200NL regular tables and then add 200z once I get to 10k BR...

EV for 100NL so far is 13.8bb and we're adding 200NL. Let's hope we can continue this trend! (Not running below EV trend but winning EV!)

The way you describe it, you suggest that he shows up with a unexpected hand.
A2 s/o or A3s/o Or maybe something like K4s/o.
In defending your blinds w34z3l suggests that even with a bottom pair you should lead out in a MW-pot, so may be that is what he is doing. His betsize is large to protect against flushdraws. He wants to realize foldequity.

Well that was a good one Varune! I turned it off to not show results but I guess it didn't work.

As8s is what he had. Tough hand to play as you have little reads to go on. Bet-size probably threw it off. Yeah I'm not sure why HH when uploading from microgaming hands doesn't show up properly sometimes. :) Since it was my fault I will do something else and give away $20.

Tried again and same thing happens. If anyone knows how to fix it it would be great!

Booked my next trip already. 2 week vacation in Bahamas in January. I will be there the week after PCA if anyone is sticking around to go for a drink. :)

Here's something I found on Facebook that would apply to almost everyone here working on their games.

There's no magic. No short-cuts.

I'm going to stop playing 100zoom for a while. I need to recover and start making some money. :(

Mostly 100NL Zoom and some 200NL.

Of course running at EV would be better. :) We will be back! Seems like I did 20k hands of work for nothing.

I'm still at 6.2k bankroll. Still over rolled for 100NL but the goal is to get to 200NL faster.
