In this 4 way spot, I don't have to tighten up my shove range, I thought bubble factor started to work but even I bust here, CO won't get additional $ still, it is different from 3way.

Moreover, when I don't take risk here, CO and BTN gonna bust basically.

Interesting spot on the bubble I think. I would consider to push here, but on the bubble a fold is most likely better indeed. I expect you’re $EV line would be a indication on long run how much money you will win, but variance is off course enormous in those games.

A7o too tight fold, ES is 4.5 BTN's range was much looser than KTo last time.

Especially in first hand, my ev diff is terrible..

For improve this spot, there is someway.

1 practice at SnG wiz quiz, but I'm not used to filtering quiz, so making good quiz is bit difficult.

2 watching video, especially explaining calling range 5bb around, do you know some good video?

3 try other tools, I heard something about ICMizer, that quiz is better? Although I don't want to invest to additional tool..

Hmm, this month's aim is rainforcing my calling range, I gonna decrease my mistakes around calling range to 20% compared to recent mistake.

Actually, I'm very frustrated by SB, he seemed to be almost 100% shover from SB.
However, even he is doing 100% shove here( and I think he shove at most 80%), I couldn't call my hand, it was because bubble factor.

Yesterday, I made some too tight fold but today is too loose call.
Let's improvement more tomorrow!

I got -100$ swing at 1 session yesterday, it was so sad( I wide-shoved as usual then opponent could call 3 times more with premium hands..)

Anyway, I found interesting promotion in twitter.

It said that today's PS promo is insanely good, and it was about tournament game.

Ok, I haven't tried 180 man SnG so I was not confident about this game's ICM but very simple calculation that I only have to play at most 360 games( and it is lowest stake, I didn't think I'm latter side among all player in 1$ game) so I tried.

You're right, there are a lot of loose overcall spots when you have less than 6 big blinds because the antes bloat the pot. The initial preflop pot is 3.3 big blinds at a full table, thus the 'effective big blind' is equal to 2.2 times the nominal big blind

The fact that you were playing in the chip EV mode at final tables (if I've understood you right) was even in your favour because finishing in the first place had so much value than other prizes should have been ignored anyway. However, your opponents, especially 180-man regs, might have been playing according to the ICM, so they were giving you extra dead chips because they were playing tight (in order to maximise their regular prize equity, but not the promo bonus equity).

So you were set to win tourneys more often than once in 180 games, but your real non-promo ROI was likely slightly negative or not very big due to 'ICM mistakes', so you definitely ran hotter than the sun with regard to the prizes of the tourneys themselves.

All in all, due to the specifics of the promotion (the huge overlay provided by the bonus), my strategy was not to think too deeply about ranges but just to keep loading as many hyper tables as there were in the lobby and flip in the cEV mode

I basically played 6max hyper-turbo game so I used ICM, (ICM tax is too low when 180 man game early phase so I gonna use chip-ev here though)

Yea, and I completely agree with the opinion that I have to care about more when I play 180 man seriously.
Moreover, I actually thought I'm playing pokeish game, not poker when I played 15 table+ in unfamiliar game lol(It worked:f_biggrin:)

Anyway, Today's news is very sad..

I contacted HM2 support so many times and finally they said HM2 has bug around $ev in 888.

That means that I followed wrong stats($ev was relatively accurate stats to determine my grind is good or bad).

They said that $ev bug is lower priority, but this bug remains over 1 year,WTF.

Now 888 has 2nd best traffic, never minor room, also this room has good traffic for SnG.

My request was I want to see true stats, true evaluation, is it excessive?

I'm so sad that it is good time to switch another tools, although I never want to invest more even I already bought decent tool(what I thought decent.)

Ok, my grind has still decent profit, let's improve more.

AQo, I already met such a situation, and with deep breath, I could remember.

2 left guys is too short, that mean my calling ICM is terrible.(these 2 short stack can get 2nd place prize if I bust.)

If you're going to play SnGs for long, then I advise you to switch to PT4. HM2 is notorious for miscalculating $EV in many SnG formats of many sites. But the PT4 team usually corrects any mistake in $EV calculation within a few business days of receiving a support ticket from me with relevant hand history files attached.

This difference is surprising because HM and PT are now owned by the same company, but that's how it is.

On it, my score was around top 40%.

I'm shaming that I thought my play was decent, but 40% is never enough lol

As I wrote yesterday, I'm trying to switch to new tools, PT4 and ICMIZER.

I'm waiting for withdrawal for payment, but I can use PT4 trial now.

When I firstly opened PT4, I couldn't activate my HUD.
After some tuning up, my PT4 started working.

Here is my test-session's result

Wow, it was test-session from my view but my result is insane!

I heard 2x- or 3x- turbo tournament is very juicy so I tried today, but I never thought I can get some result. I'm so happy that I can purchase these tools comfortably!

However, I'm never confident my play considering my first 2x-turbo game and my score at SnG coach, I'm looking forward to this tool then improve my play to at least actual decent.( I thought my play is decent but SnG coach showed it is wrong directly lol)

It's been a while, I finally got my withdrawal and bought ICMIZER.

then I made some charts from this tool. It makes my SnG coach quiz score much better.

Anyway, I still have critical question for grind.

What factor should I focus to see my improvement?
I've played HT grind for 2 month, then I thought my $ev was decent.

However, I got feedback that my $ev is wrong because of HM2 bug.
If so, now my play backed to fog.

How can I check my true $ev? or is there another factor which I should focus more?

I'm testing PT4 but I don't know how to show my $ev..

Any MTT grinder has something for it?

Hi,

I was preparing for final exam for driver license last few days.

Then finally I got driver license today!( It took around 1 month, isn't it quick?

Moreover, now I can go work next January because I could take driver license this month.(Without saying, I'm not eager to go work although..)

These factor means that I need to adjust the relationship between me and poker from next month.

I've tried MTT for 1 week, and I noticed something.

1 A bit harder to calculate my real ev because of higher variance.

2 Game time also has high variance. When I won 2nd place at 300 man game, it took around 3 hours.

3 It has much more larger dream, 1 1st prize gave me 1 month profit which I earned from HT lol

4 I found some tournament which has some edge mechanically. When I join Rebuy & Addon tournament then survive until addon, I already has some edge compared to who retired before it.

In summary, MTT has some edge but it seems difficult to play on working day.

So, I'm considering some plans for it.

1 HT 6 table around as I've played around 2 month, + some juicy MTT, such as add-on or guarantee tournament, it seems most comfortable grind.

2 HT 12 table+ at lower buyin. I think I had at least 5 ROI( though I noticed my red line was fake.) so if I can continue this ROI, I can get decent profit from multitabling. It also fit the demand for flexible time.

3 Switching to MTT main. It may have best ROI. However, still I have to overcome some disadvantage as I wrote.

What plan do you think it is best for guys who can play 2 hours around per day because of work while earning some profit?
