@thazar - Happy New Year and best wishes for you and family!

@kronenbourg - Thanks my friend! Wishing you a very successful 2016!

This is one of the biggest achievements for one of my paying students. He paid for a 30hr program and he's only 20hours into this program!!!

NOTE: He never played cash game before this...

He started... this new adventure...

Pretty bad start for 10nl and 20nl.

After 9 months of coaching...

His first pot at 400nl!

He sent me this today. I'll tell you how happy I am about him. He contacted me in the beginning of the year (February). He had two coaching sessions and decided to grind it out and he lost over 50bi's. He could have easily gave up on the game. (I'm glad for him that he didn't!) He was a MTT player and his cash experience was very little and it was a tough road for him. Seems to be a lot of crazy success stories but all it takes is some motivation and hard work and we all can do it!

Happy New Year and may everyone's 2016 be like this! Successful!

So I had a student ask me how I have such a crazy redline.

So I'm going to dedicate this month to just playing a break even or slightly winning redline to show how little it really matters.

Happy New Year!

When you can manipulate how you want the graph to look. :f_cool:

Happy New Year!! gl, really awesome to look at these graphs

Is 40" 4k monitor overkill because of 27" screens, or on it's own? Does it have space for 4 HD monitors together in practice, so you can easily open tons of table on it? I have 27" but normal HD resolution and am really interested in 4k, not sure if I imagine how that looks in practice though and 40" is huge :) So any words of wisdom or a short impressions/review with this beast would be great!

Not exactly the best setup or professional one. :badteeth: It's only for poker and coaching so forgive me.

Spoiler

I never play more than 10 tables but this is nice I can tile 12 easily with a pretty big HUD too.

What I do now is tile 6 on the 40" and use the other to run 3 tables so I have 9 going all the time.

It is a bit of overkill but now I can grind with a HUD that is huge so it takes a lot less strain on the eyes to focus for long periods of time. Gunnars glasses, F.Lux, and this monitor should help with the eye problems a bit. Since the upgrade to the new monitor, my redline has levelled off a lot and it might cause me to miss a lot of information because everything is so far apart!

Spoiler

Great start to 2016! May we run above EV all year long! :)

No! Is that the graph of one hour playing at 15 tables at 6max NL25?

Earning of $/€/£ 250 per hour is very great result. Even for two hours :roto2:

Looks very good this blog! I went to your hand converter website 'Weaktight'. Looks very good, are you also signed up through William Hill Poker on PokerTube or another site where they have connections with? They claim to have good rakeback but I am in a talk with them and not sure if I should sign up over there.

@Gerardus - You can see from that screenshot that there are a few 10nl tables too so probably not 250/hr. :) No I used Stars because somehow they changed their max tables to what it seems like more than 30!

@Hesticus - I'm not sure what you mean. You can ask me in private.

I finally had a student tell me about a software that lets you tile 4-5 different sites and also allow you to use hotkey's for all the sites together! OMG I owe him!

Looks like 2016 is becoming more crazy. I'm 3b'ing 20%. Guys at 200nl are having a hard time dealing with this crazy maniac. :)

Fish will be fish! :)

I know I should always be calling but there was some crazy dynamics and I think he will shut down bluffs otr. So might as well rep some combo draws and also maximize from any combo draws he will have. :)

What to do? Oh my!? What would you do?

Nice hands! With regards to the first hand, am not sure why you didn't push the flop as this would yield more equity ($14.40 according to Small Stakes No-Limit Hold' em by Miller, Mehta and Flynn) than OTT.

people adopt the most crazy line against you so you have to call here... with stats like yours TPTK is the top of your range init?

I call :f_love:

IMO after checking back the flop he does not have many value combos as odd overpairs, two pair, sets and straights most probably bet. So basically his perceived value range is rare slowplayed A♠::Ax: or K♠::Kx: and flushes, but those do not shove the turn and raise instead?

So I call and win against A♠:Q♦:

BSB, if it's possible, can you tell me what are your usual playing stakes and what are the highest stakes that you coach?
thx
