Yet again, random number generator produces two running cards for another destruction of dominating hand. Por que Poker stars, por que?

Wuuhuuuuu i got him.... wait.. wait... is it possible that on turn it will come a club.. hm... oh yes there it is, oh no stars no....yes...yes.... bam river club... Another dominating hand bites the dust.. Its funny how RNG "always" gives that right card on turn to give the opponent new set of outs - well it must induce action right?

So the same tourney as yesterday, but the same shit as always. And that "little" voice in my hand is screaming do not call do not call... but i am ahead 100%....do not call...

Should have listened. Classic tale in which low stack pushes all in with weak ace and RNG produces that standard magic flop which gives him that extra outs and off course he hits that shitty 3 on turn. But hey, just in case... there is a J on river...

GTFO stars.

p.s: another JJ vs J10, rivers a straight .... i am done with this site.

Checked what minimum range he has to shove:

MP2 49.19% 41.15% 8.04% AhKs
MP3 50.81% 42.77% 8.04% 22+, A9s+, A9o+

we need 48% equity for breakeven call. So at least this range on average they have to go.
Often they might go with PPs. So that means we lose to those, and so others have to go much wider to compensate. I am not sure if they do very wide that often.

Quite true, mathematically, however, people think that three-of-a-kind is a perfect spot to bluff, and his play looked like pocket pair (just flat pre hoping to set mine) semi-bluffing. Since this is NL2 though, he could have a whole bunch of air in his range, and I beat all of that cold.

In first hand i put him on Ax, i was "certain" i was ahead - especially when he re-popped my bet. So according to you, what was bad about this play?

In second hand i was playing against aggressive player with big stack, who loves to play any kind of Ax and make a c-bets on flop. Sure i could flat call and it would be a correct choice if i knew that i would hit that 5 on flop, but how many times that happens? Re-popping all in with 55 which plays badly after flop, while being low stack and against aggressive opponent who likes to c-bet, it feels like a good choice. What do you suggest?
