I think you can call 1 street and see turn.
As turn card is complete blind, you can call too. It is up to you and what you know about villain. Plus his bets are not big...

Like you said, the 2♦: changes nothing. So if you thought you were good and called on the flop. you should call the turn. I would actually raise on the turn and find out exactly where you're at.

I think you can call again OTT.

Normally you can call off 1 more time. But against a villain this tight id usually fold. Ts in your hand doesn't help either.

The thing is villain can barrel high Ax there.

And could be playing flush draw aggressively.

Most of them might stop yes.

So villain is more likely to barrel Ax and stop barreling FD? I think it would be opposite.
Besides there's not much FD in villains range that we beat, AKs, AQs, KQs, that's pretty much it from 11 PFR guy, and he has bunch on Jx and overpairs

I saw a reasonable amount of 3barrels w overs and flushdraws... so, for me, thats a call.

Villains often ceise betting on turn when they do not hit. Not all of course.
As I said in the 1st post, I would call on this turn.

This is the best comment I read regarding the "folding side" of this discussion.

I'm no expert so please explain why I'm wrong, but why not bet on the flop? You knów villain is gonna bet if you check, but when he does you know nothing about his hand... it's a c-bet for him as far as you know. Bet on the flop, see if he folds and if he doesn't he probably has you beat. And it's not likely your hand is gonna improve, so after that it should be a pretty easy fold for you if he bets or raises.

Imo, u are saying like "bet so he cant bluff". But, if he bluffs, we are extracting more value them betting ourselves. Thats why check/call seems to be a more standard line to take.

He says we should donk trying to make fold hands with equity, not only bluffs. Any card higher to board is not good for us.

I don't know them fancy words very well yet, but if anything it would make the fold a lot easier. I don't really like our tens here.

To me it seems villain either has AK, AQ, or is straight up beating us. But I'm used to playing full ring, so maybe the villain has a bigger range pre flop than I'm imagining? Like I said, not an expert... yet.

This is exactly the case. Well I like the donk but will we bet turn too?

I don't think so. If he is in fact beating us we're not gonna chase him off, so there's no point in bluffing. If he checks after us on the turn then maybe he has nothing and we can bet again on the river. Of course that gives him an extra draw, but that's more reason to keep the pot small.
