I was playing a cash game for about an hour and half and had made 50% of what I put in in a $1/2 live game. I decided to play one last hand and it proved out to be really good one. Just thought of posting and getting your comments.
9-players table.
UTG player raises to 5 and others fold. I was in CO call. BTN,SB,BB fold.
Heads-up flop: 5♥:T♠:Q♣:
He bets $5. I call.
Turn : J♦:
He bets 5. I call.
Turn : 3♦:
He checks. I bet 15. He calls.
Villain shows Q♦:2♠:
I show the straight with 8♣:9♣: Looks like nobody in the table put me on my hand and I really felt proud of it. Did I miss value on the turn? Would he have called a raise on the turn and a bet on the river? Also I loved the position I had over him(I know in this hand I did not have to worry much after the turn irrespective of pos. still I always prefer being in pos.)
Your thoughts on this line and any other approach on this hand?
Thanks
Vignesh
