Awful. I was home alone yesterday and was aiming for really good volume. I don't get much of that. But it was completly hopeless. First I lost 10$ at Full Tilt. Mostly on sets against sets. Then I switched to Pokerstars and run into more sets against sets. I was some 8 dollars down but somehow I managed to repair that to about 2 dollars down. But then I run into a shitstorm of bad beats followed by some tilt decisions so suddenly I was 15 dollars down.

The sick thing is that I run some MTTs on Svenska Spel at the same time doing 50 dollars up. So I actually made money but I'm still pissed.

But I try to analyze my game to see if I can spot some leaks. Aggression seems to be an issue. As long as I'm running good I have an Agg f of something like 3-5 which is good for me. But after I faced some nasty bad-beats it drops to 1-1.5. That in combination with a tendency to turn into a calling station after tilting is ... a bad thing.

I have color coding for my HUD where blue is in the range of what I believe is the good overall. And as far as I was in control of my game it was all blue yesterday which means good. Accept for one value that I have -> turn cbet fold that is zero!? I don't really know where I got these numbers from but it should be blue between 39 to 53 according to my notes. Strangely I have put values under 30 to red for "too aggressive" but when I think about it it should be green for "too loose". Well I haven't paid to much attention to this stat but watching the video about "range cam" tells me I may have missed a spot here.

So did you tilt because you lose the money or just because you faced some bad beats? That`s the important question here.

I can afford the money and as I said I actually won more on the side simultantously. It is about how I lose. About how I think I know what to do and doing it and fail brutally.

One of the tournaments that was thrown out just after I entered the money was like this: Im on the BB. 2-3 players folds, next player raises. I have JJ and goes all-in ( 3-4 players more have to leave before the money gets better so I think it is a good spot to coin-flip either I leave or I get a better stack) OK. So the cards i shown and villain has AK. And the flop is rubbish-rubbish-A. Okey so I loose - no big deal. But the thing is that the turn was K and river A. That arouses my anger. Not that I loose but that I'm getting so humiliated :)

It is some mental shit.

When I'm in order I play every hand as I think it should be played. If I have lost or won before doesn't matter. These last weeks I have had a winrate about 15-20 bb/100 and had great expectations on how good yesterday evening should be. I think that is what made me vulnerable for bad-beats.

With exception for my special poker-weekend things are running well. If I haden't screwed up my winrate on that weekend everything would have been all right.

Even Leakbuster seems to like my new gameplay:

The only thing Leakbuster really complains about is my 4bet range, But it doesn't seems to make any sense to 4bet as long as I'm playing most hands on NL2.

Oh. It has been a while. I have tried to improve my game. And I did improve my stats but not my winrate.

Now after my vacation I haven't really tried to hard but more just had a good time at the pokertables. My stats for July looks like shit:

And the graph looks a bit bad too except for the green line:

Well. Now it is time to gather my papers and try to study poker again. It's going to be interesting to see if I can keep my winrate and tidy up my game at the same time.

I had a few hours this morning to play Poker. Boiled some coffee. Tidying up my workspace and so on. Nice, nice, nice.

First. Have to update the virus shit. Major update.

Bad thing. Now I have to exclude zillions of folders on my harddrive. And they are everywhere. Program/ Programs/ Program(86), Appdata/local, Appdata/roaming and so on.

Okey. Starting Holdemmanager. New update. It is something with pokerstars. I'm getting a bit nervous cause that's the site I like best. Better update then. Bad thing. Hud's restricted to 3 colors. All my color coding is screwed up. Have to change everything. Figure out new limits for 3 colors.

Now everything is screwed up. Hud's get stuck on first round at every table and don't update new actions. On Zoom it shows the players that sat on round 3. Just stuck.

I hate updates.

I have had some trouble to keep Gold status. I think it is the right level for me - the videos are a bit more advanced than me and I think I'm keep learning though it doesn't feel like that every day. But I have trouble to pump up my volume. If I play that many hours I loose concentration and drop my winrate. I have trouble to go up in stakes too. At NL5 I barely can keep my nose above the surface and at NL10 I essentially get screwed.

My first source of SP:s have been Netbet but I have trouble with the "uneven distribution of luck". The worst period I had -1300 bb/100 when dealt AA as holecards. That hurts. As a grand finale I played with my last Euros and was dealt AA. I got an All-in preflop. Villain had QQ and a third lady showed up at the flop and I'm done with iPoker for a long time.

But I have gathered some money at the other sites so I'm going to actually buy Gold status for a year. I do think that I can increase my winnings by at least 25$ a month just staying away from iPoker. And it's going to be nice just to play the amount of poker I want when I want.

So far so good. Not having the pressure to make Strategy points makes me more relaxed. I have even expierienced sessions where I can describe my gameplay as "grinding" which I haven't done for years. I just had a nice session at Pokerstar Zoom NL2.

Even the red line is where it should be.

I have had a great time since I decided to pay for may status rather than gathering Strategy points. I can play relaxed and I concentrated on NL2.

Looking forward to december.

I haven't been playing much on PartyPoker the last year. They pissed me of in a way that I can't remember and I tilted and was left with 3 dollars.

But now as I have bought my Gold status for the next year I feel like a free spirit and I can play wherever I want. So I played a few hands and it felt rather good. The software and the design IS nice. There is some Sidekick-style missions and I signed up for getting all pocket-pairs from aces down to deuces. Got aces and I played as I use to and villain folded. No reaction from the counter. OK, it has to go to showdown. Playing some 700 hands till next AA comes and I'm determined to check to SD.

Great fun at todays Winter festival at Pokerstars. I don't really know why beginners is so eager to get VPPs but I could pretty much just sit and gather small pots whitout getting many monster hands. a bb/100 round 30 over 1200 hands.

Todays event on Pokerstars was 10 Spin n goes. 2 dollars up but I feel dirty. Spin and go is a shame for Pokerstars. I hate it.

There was 2 nice hands with 88 yesterday.

Here I have completly lost all sense and thing it is a good idea to pretend that I have a flush. When I get raise I'm more or less pot commited. He could try to bluff me or whatever. My brain had left the building an hour ago.

Final Pot: $4.03
BTN shows A :diamond: K :spade:
Hero shows 8  8 :club:
Hero wins $3.89

As this all went neither of us should have been to surprised to meet a flush. His reaction was "Gay site!".

What did he think I had?

At last I am back to normal. Holidays is over and I have done a heavy shift at work.

Haven't had much time to study I have concentrated on these daily quests at Pokerstars. Even if I'm back at NL5 after a long time at NL2 these quests demands playing on NL10 which is out of my comfort zone. It has been a lot of one day up and one day down. This day was the most painless one so far.

Surprisingly good "retard equity". First quest was to win with a straight. I put in a few more suited connectors and suited gappers in my handchart but a lot of people tried with unsuited connectors which gave me quite a few flushes against people trying to win with a straight.

did you complete all 3 quests in 250 hands. It takes me generally 1K+ and never < 500

Today was another easy one.

The image function doesn't seem to work but quest completed in 328 hands and 15,35$ and a bb/100 of 46,77. Wish everyday was like this!

Edit: It seems like you can't have space in the filename even if the system renames the file.
