YO. In this hand I decided to 3bet this guy preflop. Just had 10 hands on him, nothing extraordinary.

On the flop it's kinda vague to cbet imo and we are better off checking trying to get to showdown or bluffcatching vs KQ/AQ on the turn. On the other side he can have 22-99 that may decide to find a preflop call (whereas the lower pockets may just fold). But overall it all seemed pretty odd to me. What is your line here and what's your gameplan for the turn and the river on any card that doesn't improve us?

You won't make Jx Tx fold, getting value from worse Ax is dubious as well. Either way, checking's fine otf. Regardless of likelihood the villain was going for float there, i don't think you've got enough room to catch him with Ahigh, given the way you played on previous streets.

Then you also have nut outs. Hitting a Q there can be very profitable versus a flopped set. There are situations (not this one really) where bluffs are profitable, but check-backs are more profitable.

Flop xb is fine. Turn fold is fine. I think we could also call turn and re-evaluate OTR. We have 2 overs and any Queen makes a straight. Villain could be stabbing us with air because we checked flop?

I might have continued OTF. You also could have represented quite some hands. Diamonds, KQ, AK, TT+. I most probably find a fold with many of villain's hands he could possibly have.

Jx, Tx, FD and SD will continue on flop. You will fold hands that you beat.
Plus the board hits him more.
