AQo in 3bet pot

it s dificult to say, but on the first look, i would say, villain is not bluffing. He can easyly check the flop to let the fish spazz out. Dou you have 3bet stats from Villain?

I think a 4bet would be maybe better to iso the fish. As played i would have also called i think, because this is one of the best hands we can hit when we call. But Villains bet looks really valueheavy. It looks like he has locked up the board with TT.

Preflop I raise always 3x ... It depends on his 3bet stats but usually I fold AQo and call AQs.

I'd take a stab at very dry flop IP and fold if things got nasty. Other than that I think the hand pretty much played itself.

Personally, I would have folded pre flop here. I'm not a big fan of AQ unless I'm the one 3betting it. As played, I would have taken a shot on the flop. Other than that, it kinda just played itself out.

No reliable 3bet stat. I have only 14 hands on villain. His line looks value heavy but often when they stab turn they will stab river too.

2,5x is standard open for me from BTN and SB. Allows me to steal more. AQo is also standard defend for me BTNvsSB.

Isn't folding AQo a bit too weak vs SB 3bet? We have to defend something. I don't think that fish entering the pot matter very much.

Maybe we can 4bet here to put pressure on them.
As played, river can go both ways but I prefet folding.

One coach once said that if you are going to stab villain OTT, you have to continue it OTR. After flop goes check check we will be calling turn a lot and that's why villain has to bet river again. Imo villain can bet river with the same range than he bets turn so he has some weaker pairs and air here.

However, he was the agressor preflop; turn he bets in 2 players behind - that shows some strength.
I don't think he'd bet turn w air, weaker pairs could probably be JJ.
