Urgh still being ill as I am going to the doctor to see what's really wrong with me, I took the other route in terms of the results of the day after the great session. Whilst the Metagame of iPoker is weak compared to Stars, I still make too many minor mistakes which costs me a handful amount of concentration and BBs...

Funny thing is that I like 8-max tables more as I can join them earlier because the waitings lists on iPoker is soo long for FullRing Also 8-max tables are fishier, holla!

Well I have to balance myself from playing too many tables.. Even though iPoker is slow, I make stupid moves because the Countdown timer is so fast in contrast with Stars because you have teh Timebank on Stars ♦

10 or 9 tables is perfectly fine for me, playing more is playing minus EV. I place my 8max tables up and I stack the Fullring tables most of the times.

While I am bonuswhoring , I still have to earn shitloads so by having said that, I will follow my school's road: Learning Test-week is next week unfortunately so I have less time do to something but this week I take a shot at the Weekly Rake Race, I saw a fellow shorstacker only playing 5k~ hands and coming in the Top 10 earning $300

I have analyzed my play and I can see some fear in not making c-bets against 50%/60% fold to c-bets guys.. that's why I do not have a making a c-bet percentage of 90% but of 75% currently. Stealing stats are fine up till now.
Still I have to limp less and raise more, im getting more aggressive in MP as that's the opportunity I still didn't took

I only show you the graphs but I do not bother till I have reached 20k+ hands because that's when I really can see how I am doing. So far I can beat the Metagame by staying focused on 9 tables I scouted the Waitinglists and I know when to play to avoid long waiting lists. Also in terms of fishiness, the times are the same ♦

Yesterday I was like 80bbs up by a great read or you can also call it a Hero Call with TopPairNoKicker but after that I felt down with 2 stupid mistakes, 1 flatcalling Aces son of a bitch and a ''Oh-I-Flop-Quads-By-Calling-W/TT-On-The-BB-Let's-Call-His-Cbet..''

Yesterday was a Sunny day, had to work hard for Poker (Hand judging/education) and School (practical assignments blabla..)
I wanted to play at the wrong time when I scanned the tables because either they were full of the waiting lists or not really fishy. However I had to entertain myself first with 8-max tables. Not a problem for me though since they are way too fishy compared to fullring but you never know

Playing 189 hands in 60 minutes is like iPoker, maybe Everest is slower, don't really know I will soon find out

First hands in the session didn't went as smooth as I thought, on a coordinated board 9:c 8:s 7:h, I cbet 2/3 pot in a blindbattle with Q:sJ:c where Villain check/called me from the BB, he instantly shoved on the 8:h of which I was like 'wtf?' , I mucked and thought whatever.

Then on a 8-max table I came into an interesting spot 3-way. 1 was an ABC-TAG player you are not used to play against because of the iPoker facilities compared to Stars. On Stars you have a shitload of ABC TAGs which you can exploit easily if you would play Bigstack.

*I thought about this a long time, this Bungula guy could have anything from overcards till a PP by checking. This Achamian guy plays ABC and can just steal the pot away since it is only 1/2 pot on a paired rainbow board.

The stats that grabbed my attention were the 56% of Achamian Vs a Missed CB in position and Aggression Factor. I check/raised All-in with 2 overcards to just grab the pot as I saw FE here and there... Only Bungula calls and Achamian folds. Oops against a PP but Queens? Luckily it saved me

While I didnt raked many points for the weekly rake race which is easy to get into, I am more happy about my plays and results but still some things I should be more aware of and think about it.

Seems I am increasing in the plays thanks to the dynamics of 8-max, not that you have to adjust things to significantly compared to 6-max but still, you learn things about it.

Concerning school work, I have shitloads to do so I won't be playing nor judging hands ont he English forum as I used to do very actively. I only will do the coachings on Thursday as something I must do. This lasts till next week wednesday or something!

Good night everyone :)! I did not played on the 20th of January due school, some days there is not even time for a good old night of poker Well actually today it wasn't a grinding day but I can modestly say that I played abit above average besides xarry's coaching

21th of January was a good old SSS day with a couple of wins I shouldnt have won and a couple of losses, I shouldnt have lost. All strange and so I still manage to outplay some opponents just as a SSS guy has to do. The metagame was known so I felt satisfied about my database

The time which I started was not very pleasant, waiting lists were crowding up as Ants looking for sugar.. ah well I fought through it and played 9 tables in no time.

Stupid thing was that the Metagame this time was TIGHT!, it wasn't like I used to see but yes they were tight so I had to cut down tables to 7. Some marginal situations with a slight edge were made and happened out good. On one table I went crazy all-in 2 times in a row, well crazy all-in on the BTN/CO because of the Sklansky Chubokov and aggressive blinds. First time I had KQo and the next hand i got QQ so I thought ''Well maybe some will notice it and make a crazy call''

Unfortunately they all fold.. bummer!

So he wins, who cares about that? Let's talk about this hand in further detail.

Calling preflop is I think mandatory with these kind of holding, a clickraise didnt say much to me and I noted him down for the first time doing a clickraise. Getting 7:1 hella, 3betting here is stupid, folding here is ridiculous and calling here is lucrative

WHY did I check/raisedAll-In (=c/RAI) postflop instead of betting out?
Well I figured out that the preflop aggressor and the IP caller were pretty aggressive and since the board is low, maybe I could get some bluffvalue of it. I found check/calling more or less killing yourself since you sacrifice 1 street to try to get more value. I think the Risk:Reward ratio is too high for this!

My coaching starts in 25 minutes so I have to hurry up with my writing/typing skills ♦
Since I play more 8-max, my stats are obvious more aggressive as they used to be but I like it although 6-max people do not recommend me loosing up that much, especially when I have 3 fish at the table.
I still have to clear like $500 bonus dollars so my adventure is not over. My goal for this week is to reach top 20 in the weekly rake race to cash in like $150 cash. Not bonus dollars and thank you for that

To end this post I will end with a fish moment of someone who tilted his ass off after the hand because of the suckout I gave him, virtually it is true because I had 4 outs from Turn to River but I had 10 outs at most from Flop to River so I thought, yeah well do not tilt buddy.

Obviously I did not said anything, and If I wanted to lol, I removed the chatbox to free up some space on the iPoker miniview tables for my Avg. VPIP / PFR/Pot statistics of the table.

[x] Tasting some of a Grinder's daily life...

Hello guys! As you read in the previous posts, meh I have exams next week so my amount of play is quite limited. Although I start learning tomorrow, I had a grinding day today. I played over 4 and a half hours to get some points for the Weekly Rake Race to be ITM or something.. it's like $20 but whatever, free cash, A dutch man never denies free money ♦

As an addition this day was great just playing, learning, reading whatever I like before I have to learn school things, feels great =)!

I changed my TitanScreenname because I had to change my currency to $USD because of the currency rate, it only costed me 0.36EU because that's what I had left there.
36 pennies for a new screenname, hmm Im in lol ♦

The first session went well, I took a NL200 table with me to see how that is going on. I doubled up there and that was cool because I played against the same Fish that was playing on NL100 as well Table selecting for the win..

1st session was kinda break even, 2nd session went well +75bb up.
The third one, a I had a new SSS player in the Dutch community accompanying me in the Jungle of NL100 iPoker

He complained that I had a lot of AA getting dealt but one time I wished I didnt had them Got RunnerRunnered by a Straight... perfect played, worst result ever

As I played that many hands I am not used too, I think I won't like this daily routine because it bores you more than it rewards you. Playing some time for both your BR and relaxing is more my style.

Getting many points is okay but if I play for points, I kind of lose the passion in playing...

Its 2:00 CEt already, time to go to bed I will end this post right now and expect less updates next week due exams...

The picture is NOT a setup of my PC it is just illlustrating my Title and my saturday. I just play on 1 monitor stacking the fullring tables (6) and 3 8-max tables above it.

But the fun didn't end there and Gerv made a good profit and he had a nice Sunday Evening prior to his exams

Furthermore he seeked aid for his NL200 adventure, DB should be soon finished when I found a private coaching either by Max or Fabian, he should be doing fine especially with the clearance of his first deposit bonus + other bonuses!

The metagame was horrible and loose as a slippery fish and Gerv could profit from it once again. Looking back at iPoker with 8k hands played so far, he can be fairly satisfied with his stats, results and the way he managed to stabilize up to this point.

His goal in February will be clearing the first deposit bonus, getting some tastes in NL200 SSS on iPoker and he will move to another platform (Mansion) in the same month.

last but not least, a very crazy-all-in by Gerv, he wasn't really proud of this afterwards... an Overcard + NutFD is mostly 48% equity

To conclude Gerv's Sunday: It was a day full of getting TPTK and it payed off against TPGK hands (A32 board, my AK vs AJ eg.) sometimes the opponent sucked out but as a compensation Gerv made some questionable plays as well. This is to give you an indication that he doesn't play perf_ect SSS yet

The Royal Rumble took the whole evening and I didnt had any purposes to play poker on Monday. However on Tuesday I was ready to play some cards Obvious I wanted to clear the First Deposit bonus as soon as possible to move on whoring :).

After our Community Manager coaching where Leo (The ShortStack Specialist) plays Shorthanded and RobbieV (Shorthanded NL1k++ Highroller) plays ShortStackStrategy. The propbet is the total winnings in 5k hands. I obviously betted $10 on Leo because of the shorthanded winnings and the variance of 5k hands in SSS

While Robbie played his NL100 session with suckouts (duhr!), I imported tons of hands of NL100/NL200 into my HEM. Yes that's right, I will be taking shots on NL200 in Early February, with the help of sweatings and private coachings, I think I will manage

The Time I started my session (20:15 CET) was fabulous! Waiting lists were second to none and I could hop into 5 tables instantly all filled with fish and mediocre TAGs. First hand I doubled on the beginners table with 9:h9:d in a blindbattle. SB had A:s2:s, but hehe no worries there because I didnt played against DeKuip (I wish he was it because I played on a beginner table :P)

I played for 2 hours straight on around 8 tables. At some point I played on 12 while I had to leave 2 due it's nittiness... Yeah makes no sense playing there imo

Looking at the graph, I didn't played that bad , standard TTvsJJ and AAvsKK situations plus some tilting guys giving me stacks with their midpair and stuff. I inserted a new line called rakeback because I think I make 30% rakeback in the means of the FirstDepositBonus + other bonuses. I do not think this is an accurate percentage for iPoker SSS but it also could be 45%...

The known players percentage was around 82% which is rather low for me so I have to increase my datamine activity because I think new players entered my playground ..
