Why I lost that Hand?

[Edited by SDK1987]. Here I take a look of rules. And it clerly say that flushes and straights are ignored for the low. If you look in chat box you can see that it says that opponent win low with 6,5,4,3,2. Can you explain me why he is winning high (it is obviously) and low (:f_o: ) with straight. I must miss something. Thanks for your help.

Because 7 is higher than 6.

When calculating the low you count backwards your lowest 5 cards.
In this hand you have A-2-3-4-7
Your opponent has 2-3-4-5-6 as a straight does not count in low
Now you compare who has the lowest 5 cards.
You 7-4-3-2-A
Opponent 6-5-4-3-2
Therefore his hand is lower as he has a 6 as his high card and you have a 7 for yours

Hello mylove190207

So you can see I just edited your post, because it’s against https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=347065 to post links of competitor sites.

If you want to learn more about Omaha Hi/Lo you can also read the articles:

If you have still some questions about the hand or the articles I just posted don’t hesitate to ask them.

I apologize for that.

Because of that I was thinking that he can't have any low combination. I know that you count backwards but was thinking that he can't have any low because 6-5-4-3-2 is straight. But it seams that 5-4-3-2-A is nut type of low and straight for high.

Thanks all of you and apologize again for posting that link.
