$0.10/$0.20 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 5 Players

Hero (SB): $31.92 (159.6 bb)
BB: $38.80 (194 bb)
MP: $20 (100 bb)
CO: $20.04 (100.2 bb)
BTN: $14.19 (71 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J J
2 folds, BTN raises to $1.20

What to do here? Villain is a 72/22 fish and this was his first time opening to this size. BB is also a passive fish.

If you have played enough hands to have reliable information that he doesn't open often with this size, you can just call. Passive fish on BB can join too which is fine for us. Without information I'd just stack off against BU. What happened in the previous hands? If he lost some, we can assume he is tilted and this becomes a clear stack off.

Mmmmm. Just calling is awful when the passive fish can join... Axx, Kxx, Qxx boards are killing us ...
Push or fold...

I am 160bb deep with bb so I don't like 3betting(we 3bet- bb calls like passive fish always do,- btn jams all in- I don't know what to do then as bb acts after me and I dont wan't to get 160bb in with JJ pf).
I don't like calling because btn can have us crushed + if we call we are OOP + Ax,Qx,Kx boards are hard to play vs agression like Nitrol said.

I ended up folding in this spot but I'm not sure if its correct.

Calling should be +EV, was just wondering whether 3bet would be even better. It is almost profitable to call even if we care only about set value. Add that it will be check/check sometimes or fish will show weakness and there will be boards without overcards on which you can win a decent amount... Nothing wrong with calling and check/folding some flops.
