Hello andeevansTV

Welcome on the PokerStrategy forum :welcome:

Maybe it’s good that you check out our https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=314586&page=1
There you can find all information you need for a beginner to start with tournaments.
Don’t forget that the swings in MTT’s is high as well. You can easy lose 200 buy-inns as winning tournament player. So appropriate bankroll management (BRM) is imported if you grind this type of games.

It looks like your still a basic member and then you can use 1 or more of our free money offers on poker rooms you don’t have an account yet.

Further I wish you a pleasant stay on our forum and if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask them.

Best regards,
SDK1987

Hi andeevansTV,

Great to see a live player here at pokerstategy.
Where are you from in the UK? In fact, why don't you get yourself added to our Member map. You never know, the nearest PokerStrategist may live right next door. :f_p:
What live games have you played so far? And what games are you looking to play in the future? Myself I haven't played a live game but dream of playing a EPT some day. :f_biggrin:

What ever your skill level Poker Strategy has lots of great articles and forums to help make you make the most of your game be it live or online.
Luckyluke has a series you may find interesting and a good video worth watching is Learning About Live Play: Starting Out
I have filtered all his MTT videos for you here
Many members also have there own blogs to help them track there progress and experiences, for example a good place to visit is the 'Learning to win' forum found here
When running a blog, you will profit from the following advantages:

• By documenting your progress and career you will increase both your motivation and endurance.
• You will work on your game automatically by discussing tricky spots with other members.
• During a downswing you will profit from psychological support and encouragement.
• With time passing by you will get to know a lot of cool people and even build some friendships.

I hope this is some help to you and I look forward to hopefully reading your future blog.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
Good luck at the tables.

Regards

Matt

Hello andeevansTV,

The benefit of buying status is access to higher level material from our videos to strategy articles. When you look though your see that some are only available for gold, platinum and diamond status. Most of our members get status upgrades as they spend money on the affiliated rooms. Higher status also allows you to send friend requests and post pictures.
It might be worth trying a free Money offer and test our material before considering buying a status. There is a lot of theoretical material which will help you in your live games which you might find interesting.
You can find more information on status and points here
If you are looking to qualify for live events, many rooms have satellites for major games too worth considering and another way to achieve a status upgrade.

I would also recommend placing your blog in the international meeting place as most our live players blog there.
Have you looked though the Live Poker Strategy tutorial section yet?

I look forward to reading your blog / vlog especially how you get on in APAT WCOAP.
If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
Good luck at the tables.

Regards

Matt
