@Sasa1234- right now I'm playing 6-8 tables at a time. When I move up limits I tend to play 4-6 until I'm used to it.
I ended up getting the 2k bonus last month, which is good and I also got an e-mail saying that I was in the top15 VIP cash game players on Lads. If I stay in the top15 until the end of february I win a 3 day trip in England which looks kinda cool exempt that I'd have to pay my airfare... if I win I'll have to decide if I feel like going because it's non-trasferable or refundable.
So far this month hasn't gone great in terms of playing. I've played 3k hands down 6 BI. I think I've made some small mistakes, but no major tilt or bad play so I'm happy about that. I still feel like my games improving 
They've also changed the bonuses in the rakeback race, and it looks a little bit better to me...I think I'm going to really grind a lot this month and see if I can't make a bigger bonus than my 2k minimum goal.
Also I just stopped playing on my lunch break because the internet went down 
I was in the middle of a hand that I held a set on a rainbow board and I was getting played back at... I ended up timing out and folding. Very frustrating.

I was on 9 few weeks ago but I had a mayor downswing and I'm now 4-tabling.

Good luck Sasa! Hope you bounce back from your downswing. Playing less tables is very smart because you can focus more and make sure you're still making good decisions.
I played my first ever 9-10 tabling session of Nl400 today because there were just so many good looking tables and I couldn't help myself 
. I actually found it easier than expected and there was only a spot or two that I really felt rushed. I played almost 3k hands up 7.5 BI in the end. I'm quite happy with my play overall.
I'm starting to realize that my stats don't really matter (within reason) because poker is so situation based, but for what it's worth I've played 21/18 and have broken even in non-showdown pots so far this month which is good. I'd still like to get looser preflop though, because it's so much more fun/challenging and potentially profitable that way!

Hey gggeorgio, congrats on your amazing progress so far !
If you want to be able to play looser, you should try some HU, because you get into a lot of marginal spots (as one usually plays 85%+ of buttons and 20-50% of BB). You will also get better at handreading.
nice blog, just wondering in your Pocker tracker/hem database how much rake does it say you have generated?
@lilprincess- Ya I've thought about head-up, and when I had cash on full-tilt I tried it out a couple of days, but I liked 6-max more. In the future I'm sure I'll play some heads-up, but for now I'm liking the 6-max.

@alex10- I've had a couple of different trackers so I can't give you a total #, but last month I payed a little over 6k, and it was my biggest month by far...although this month I'm definitely going to play more than that.
I had an up and down poker day today. In total I grinded it out for 4k hands down 2.5 BI. At about 3k hands I was down maybe 6BI and started getting frustrated. I quickly quit my games and took and extended break. When I got back to the tables I felt refreshed and played very well for the last hour and a bit. I'm happy with this because in the past I've had trouble playing well (or at all) once the day doesn't start well. I think I kinda started just mindlessly playing a bit in the middle as well which is something I'll have to work on when I play longer sessions.

Anyway I also play on Ladbrokes NL50 SH, I tried to play Nl100 but I guess I ran into downswing or just wasn't ready yet...

Thanks erptech , I'd wish you luck on making it up to the midstakes with me, but that would mean I'd have another solid player to deal with at the tables and I don't need that.

I have no poker results to post right now, just a little story. I just came home from work and went to start up a session when I wasn't able to log into my account. I tried like 5 times and then I pop-up came telling me that my account had been frozen. At this point I was completely freaking out (I should point out that I'm a very calm person normally). I called customer support and all my money was still there, so it doesn't look like I was hacked. My password is relatively long and complicated so I can only assume that I made a mistake each time. Either way, I changed it now just to be safe and my account is working fine.
I think I need to take a little break before starting my session...the thought of loosing 25k got me way too worked up to think straight

@nickparkes- I just read some of your blog as well. Looks like your doing well so far! I like that you're not afraid to take shots at higher limits (I'm like that too). We just have to make sure we apply proper BRM, if not all our courage will be pretty useless when we're busto
As for me, I just had one of the most frustrating weekends of poker so far. I basically had infinite time to play, but had to continuously take breaks to make sure I didn't play tilty because I kept getting owned at the tables. In total I played 8k hands down about 6BI. I am happy because I managed to never go big tilt and I still motivated myself to put some decent volume in even though the results weren't there. I was also down something like 12BI at one point today, so I guess that's a decent come back as well.
After some analysis it looks like I made quite a few small mistakes and a couple big ones due to playing too many tables and playing looser than I'm used to. It was stupid that I played more tables than usual while putting myself in more marginal situations at the same time. I didn't 10table at all today and felt like I played better as a result. I also ran pretty bad as well which didn't help.
I'm also aiming for 3k in the rake race this month, as well as the england trip. (Right now I'm in 10th for the trip and top15 make it, so that's going well) I guess all that's missing for february so far is actually making money while I grind!?! ♦

Hi georg, very nice blog! You truly are an inspiration, i like how you set yourself clear goals n try to stick to them. You seem very disciplined, something i need to work on myself, also you seem to cope very well with tilt. Hopefully some day i will be successful like you. I don't have much to report because I basically haven't had time to play since my last post. Ladbrokes has joined with microgaming which I'm really happy about. There are a ton more players and the tables are now Euro. This fits my roll very nicely because it's now as if I'm playing Nl500ish when I play Nl400(Euro$). There are also plenty of Nl600 tables open all the time now so there should be less good regs at Nl400 and I'll also be able to move up when I'm rolled/skilled enough...man I really want to ♦
Also, non-poker related, I had one of the most epic nights ever last night (yes, I know it was Tuesday but it was my roommates birthday) Today I was completely hungover and couldn't accomplish anything even if it would have saved my life!
@ ovechkin- I have a full time job other than poker.
I'm very frustrated at the moment!?! I've played like 2 half hour sessions today down a bit over 4BI. That isn't the problem either...the problem is that the past few days every time I start playing all it takes is a couple bad beats before I can see that I'm making mistakes and am forced to stop playing. I noticed the exact same trend last month when I lost 7k over 5 days. Every time I sat down I was forced to quit within an hour because I could see I was already starting to tilt.
This is really pissing me off because the rational part of my brain knows that variance is normal in poker and that these things are going to continuously happen as long as I continue playing. The emotional part, on the other hand, just hasn't leaned how to suck it up and take it... obviously this is a huge thing that I need to work on because I can't make money if I'm not playing. (At least this is a small improvement compared to a few months ago when I'd go on tilt and not quit until I'd blown off a stack or two)
I just need to keep my head straight while I'm in losing periods and remember that as long as I'm playing the best I can, then on the short term the rest is up to luck. I guess that last sentence is easier said then done

Take a weak off. Don't play poker at all in that weak and watch some videos... and when you start playing again reduce your tables to 4.
Thats what I did when I was constantly tilting and losing... You probably know that but just telling(maybe you find it useful)
