Nah, even in the stable EVs are always compared to a fold except for situations when a check is actually possible. When you are at a 3-bet or fold decision it will be compared to a fold (check is not available). This is specifically for *checks* only, this does not apply to spots where you can flat call(!). So in spots where you can raise or call, the EVs will also be compared to a fold.

This is a 45man sng and we are in the money, so it's in ICM phase. The calculator says that this is an easy fold, but I wonder if it takes into the calculation that if someone behind us calls us and wins I will bust 6th and Fronsman will bust 7th because I have a bigger stack? (does it calculate in that I'm fighting for a side pot too?)

Sure, that's already taken into account. You just need to enter the payout structure correctly, HTC will take care of the rest automatically.

Hi, after the recent update, once I copy/paste a hand into HRC it doesn't account for antes. They are always at 0 and HRC adds them to the player stack. How can I solve it? I play on PKR

Will be fixed in the next update, but this may take a few weeks - vacation atm and very hard to do updates from here.

The stacks are ok though, you just need to set the ante manually and everything else should be fine.

hi, when i try to import from sql database (im using HM2) most of the filter options are greyed out. only options i can change are "tournament since/until" and "misc max results". "hand details max eff. BB:" is checked but greyed out too. is that part of the limitations that comes with using hm2 compared to other tracker or can i change this somehow?

These filters only work with PT3/PT4/HM1, unfortunately HM2 stores the relevant information outside of the SQL database and we can't access it during the import.

When I try to paste hand from clipboard HRC doesnt recognize PKR HH's even after the update , PKR is now with MPN maybe they have changed their HH somehow. Are you planning to fix?

We don't support MPN at the moment, but please send us a few up-to-date HHs to support@holdemresources.net and we'll look into it. This would take a bit longer to support if they actually switched to MPN HHs, as we'd have to add an entirely new format.

Hi,

I used HRC on my old computer successfully in the past with stars/hm2. On my new system I fail. I can connect to the hm2 db but it does not find any hands. I also tried to import HH from hm2archive but I always just get an empty import.

The only thing I changed besides a new computer is that I am using the full tilt client. AFAIK these FTP HHs are supported by hrc? please help

Please try to import the FTP hands via clipboard copy/paste, and if that doesn't work send me a few example HHs to support@holdemresources.net and we'll get them supported asap. (Also, try updating to the latest Beta version, you can find instructions at Help: Changelog.)

clipboard paste has no valid hand history found. Beta update didnt help either. I've sent an email with an example HH as requested.
