Poker Stars $5.00 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players - View hand 2899169
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

BTN: $5.00 - VPIP: 29, PFR: 24, 3B: 19, AF: 2,0, Hands: 41
SB: $5.76
Hero (BB): $8.17
UTG: $5.94 - VPIP: 41, PFR: 18, 3B: 25, AF: 0,8, Hands: 17
MP: $8.32
CO: $4.93

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is BB with A  K
UTG raises to $0.17, 2 folds, BTN raises to $0.58, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.53, UTG calls $0.41

Flop: ($1.76) 2 :diamond: T :diamond: K :diamond: (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks, BTN bets $1.70, Hero raises to $7.59, UTG folds, BTN calls $2.72 all in

I decided to call pre because UTG had loose range and BTN had quite big TOT3B. On flop he insta pots it, I'm blocking AA, KK and figure he has either somekind of drawy hand or total garbage and decide to shove as I have TPTK and I don't want to see opponent getting good odds to call. What do you think?

Man, you will OOP postflop and our hand is too good to call here. Put pressure on them and 4B preflop.
With his stack I am not sure if stacking OTF is ok.

4betting pre would be good. I'm not so sure about this x/r.

Yeah just 4bet get it in preflop especially vs button who has a very wide range here.
If I 4bet pre and get called I'm pretty much shoving any flop.
As played I would c/f this flop because its a multiway 3b pot I've invested 10bb & I'm OOP and have no clue where I am in the hand.
I don't know this one is confusing me a bit but yeah 4b preflop get it in/shove any flop.

x/f seems quite weak with TPTK.

Yeah definately I would have played the hand differently preflop that's why I'm confused as what I would do here.
x/f is very weak I agree but on the same hand if I butchered a hand and don't know where I'm at and I have only invested 10bb I would just cut my losses and post it to see different lines I could take.

Since we just called pre flop I think folding OTF is not that bad. Villains pot bet multiway on this flop looks scary and we would be lost OTT. I'm struggling to find better lines here.

It is mw pot, we have TP and can lead. With the effective stack x/ raising is not ok.

Oh yea that is true. I would rather bet fold this than check/decide.

Preflop: Any reasonable 4-bet commits at least 30% of a full stack -> move AI.

Flop (as played preflop): Bet-evaluate is my play.

Flop (as played): Too may players to fool around with on this board -> fold to PSB. Don't forget UTG because he checked. His presence severely damages future prospects this hand, and if check-raising is marginally profitable vs BU only, it is definitely not with UTG still in. He needs only interfere like 5% of the time to make life miserable. Also, the presence of UTG also should reduce the chance of BU having total air to close to zero.
