Need suggestion : on the preflop play

As played : on the flop when btn raised allin I needed 23% equity to call. But i believe I did not have that. I want to put him on QQ+,AdKd in that case my equity is 18%. Do you think the fold was a right decision?

Shove preflop. Why do you call pre OOP and then fold after putting half of your stack in?

I don't like calling the 4bet preflop, especially OOP. I think we should shove. Then, that flop didn't hit BTN's 4bet range so if we were ahead preflop, we probably still are. I would just check/shove and expect calls from worse overpairs. When we bet small and he shoves, I think we should call. When we play like this preflop, I don't like giving up a strong overpair on the flop.

How many hands do you have on BU ? What is his BU 4betting range. if you have enough sample and he 4bets 0.9% just fold preflop. He is also 4betting against 2 and BB's calling range should be 99+, AJ+.

Calling this 4bet OOP and folding on a non A, K flop is a mistake. its seems you were calling to hit a set but if that was your intention, then there is no difference between 22 and QQ here and you will be losing tons in long run with this play when you dont hit a set.

I agree with others. I think shove pre is a good move. And as played I don't see reason to bet small OTF and then fold to a raise when half of our stack is already in the middle.
