I think a mistake was not to bet the flop at first that caused a trouble OTT
I am not sure about the turn as played, was it fine to just call?
And I think fold on the river was ok.

It's bubble time and you are fatstack, put pressure on shortstacks. Holdem is not my favorite game though, but i would be jamming that hand.

For 12bb effective is indeed a shove a fine option pre-flop, but raise/call is fine as well as chip leader.
Then you give your opponents the change to re-shove on you, but I expect on the 50c stakes they are more willing to call than to re-shove and all players are passive as well. So against these types of players is shoving the best option.

As played you are playing against a 9bb stack. So we need to bet small like 2,5bb or less if we don’t committing our self here. I expect he would still call some worse hands if we would bet small, but he will shove only with better. So I would bet/fold here, but it’s nasty for sure if that happened.
