I think because all draws are completed, villain doesn't have big bluff range (only range that you beat at the moment imo) in this spot (KQ, KJ type of hands would like to see the showdown cheaply, at least I wouldn't raise them).

I think I'd barrel the turn because of the reasons you listed here and because I'd do the same with AK, AA, KK etc.

Just xc river when all draws got there.
You can even xf when looking at his stats.

I think underbetting river is the correct move. You get thin value and it also works as a block bet. For more info why I think it is better to underbet instead of checking -> check w34z3l's new video on protection and underbetting.

1) opp-t has wtsd = 10!!! So, he's raise river is value.
2) I think bet-fold it the better option then XC
3) nice played on river.

When we underbet we will get crying calls from many hands.. Almost any pair will call. Underbetting is the way to go :)

What hands are calling?

One dollar bet in four and a half dollars.. I already told you that almost any pair will call. This is a thin valuebet and a block bet. Underbetting river OOP will have almost similar EV as checking and in general it is better to bet here imo. Our bet could be a bit smaller than it is here. Get a gold status and watch the video :) I think we miss value in the long run if we check fold.

What do you guys think about the size of the contibet? I think I would rather bet half pot and follow up 30-50% on the turn so you might get JJ,QQ and gutshots like AQ or AJ to fold

If we underbet, preferably even smaller than this, we get calls from any Ax,Kx,Tx,9x and some other pocket pairs as 88,JJ etc.. When we underbet villain can be tempted to call with any weak hand he holds. He is folding his 55 if we bet big and he checks back if we check but if we underbet we will get calls..

I'm not going to go through my database to prove this to you because I really don't care if you take this as a part of your gameplan or not. There are couple of example hands in the video I posted above.

I think that he will call only KQ and not all the time from pairs that we beat. JJ-88, Tx, 9x would not call with A and K on board. Of Ax we do not beat anything.

If we bet 5-10bb I think we will get calls easily from those hands. Not all guys will call but some might and if we were otherwise going to check, why not extract some extra value if we can. It also works as a block bet so villain is not that likely bluffing us. If we check villain can easily bluff us with wide range.

In my opinion this is very good strategy and it is profitable but you don't have to believe me :)

What comes to that range: villains fold to 3bet is quite small and he can have lower pockets, JT,QT and some suited connectors that make a pair, like 78s. If we bet a couple of big blinds we won't risk much and we get calls from those hands. Betting 5bb and checking is not that much different in EV but the benefits of betting are great.

I hope you remember that Hero made a solid bet on flop and those hands outside of the range I gave may not call on flop.
But they are not calling on river too, with A and K on the board.

I am tryong to tell you that in this particular board, it is not that good. In general, it is a good move and I use it a lot.
