As i am from Latvia i vote for LATVIA 
Today is a big game LAT vs SUI lets see how our team manage to play against more similar opponent. Of course SUI is favourite but we managed to take some points from BIG teams. GO LATVIA!!! :f_drink::f_thumbsup:

yeah alot of surprise from Latvia this year , would be nice for you if they can keep it up 
The youngsters from the USA are disappointing so far and lost again, this time to Slovakia. They finished fourth in the group and have to take on the number 1 of the other group, which was surprisingly the Czech Republic.
Another upset as Finland beats Canada with 4-0, a shutout by KHL goalie Koskinen.
The quarter final bracket is now set:
1. Czech Republic vs USA
2. Canada vs Sweden
3. Finland vs Denmark
4. Russia vs Germany
Walkovers for Russia and Finland (normally), the 1st and 2nd match ups could be exciting!
As expected Finland dominated Denmark: 5-1 with 1 goal from Laine, but it was mostly the depth of Finland which gave them the easy win.
Czech Republic vs USA ended in 1-1 after overtime with 1 goal from Matthews. USA onto the next round after penalty shots, Matthews also made the deciding one.
yeah too bad Sweden didn't take this tournament seriously, they left all their stars home.

the big stars didnt want to come this year, while other teams was able to get star players to come, but with or without stars i think they played really lame... 
Semifinals today, Finland - Russia and in evening Canada-Usa, i hope for a Finland- Canada final , who you guys think will make it to final?
Finland - Canada. I don't think this young USA team has a chance against Canada. Finland-Russia could be closer because Shipyasomething is having an amazing tournament.
I must say Canada looks better then Finland in first period , now the Finnish mods will beat me 
Russia came in third btw after beating the USA with 7-2. Canada leads after two with 1-0 against Finland.
