@la55i: thank you for the information.
I saw in a thread on this forum that a player had to send a notarised copy of his passport to 888, which according to the 888 rep was an added security feature. Since in the Netherlands noterising something has to be done by a notary with a hourly rate of 300-500 euro's I wanted to know if this feature is still alive?
I do not mind having to verify my person (and they should do this before depositing if their concern is safety), however notaries are expensive in the Netherlands. So before there is a lot of money issues I just want a simple answer if they have updated their safety procedures to accomodate normal people.
@ the 888 rep
Why cant you just put your answer in this thread? why do I have to give you my pokername? Also which one I do not play at 888 at the moment, so what pokername are you after? Same with my email adress, I do not want to be contacted by support, I want a very simple answer here, if I wanted to contact support I would have done so via your website.
Your unwillingness to answer my very simple and basic questions is kind a putting me of to play at 888. I only play on sites I trust, (e.g. I will never play on PartyPoker again since the segregated tables.) at the moment you are evading my questions and not answering on basic information any representative of a business should know:
1) What are the conditions related to this website, where you are a representative to, to play on you software?
2) What are the required safety/identification methods needed to play legitimite on your software? (what do I need to identify meself)
3) There have been some problems in the past with the software. Is the software running smooth or not?
How can you call yourself a representative if you cannot even answer these very simple and basic questions about the topic you should be informing this community on?
