Maybe you could bet the flop a little bit bigger like half pot or so, but this is fine as well and the fold on his shove is standard I think.

I'd make 2x pre from this level. His actions should be the same and you save some chips. Also, you build smaller pots in this stage and makes it easier to play and not risking too much your tournament. Your stack gets small quickly and I believe in long term there is a big difference in 2x and 3x.
OTF I like checking behind for pot control and see what he does OTT. When you c-bet there vs. BB he will almost always keep only his Ax hands when the board is that dry, and fold worst hands. It's like your are bluffing your JJ. If your are betting for value, what worst hands should call you? And if you are bluffing, what better hands will fold?
As played, I will always fold to this check raise shove.

Hi
Its really hard to me adapt my game to the structure with "Antes" coz I need to be less tigth in the first levels. So I still do raises x4 and x3 because my range is very tigth and when Im Open raising in 20/10 ... 40/20 and 60/30.
Usually f.e. when Im betting x3 in 20/10 with AQx, 2,3 or even more people is calling and is really hard to play vs 3 OOP, for this reason I like bet x3.
Actually in 80/40 im betting x2.5. what do you think about it?

Hello.
I had the same problem adapting to the antes.
The thing is:
In general, calling stations are playing their cards, and when you do 160 and 240 it makes no difference to them. Their actions will almost aways be the same. I don't think your size will make them fold enough to compensate the 80 chip difference.
Yes, you will need to wide your opening range, but that does not mean you need to do bigger sizes. Have you watched Collin's SNG videos? He is a very good trainer and you should see a lot about sizing and opnening ranges there.
I am using 3x in 20/60.
2.5x in 15/30 and 25/50
2x on all other blinds.

I think 3x preflop is fine coz you first of all want to get max value out of your hand. The flop will more rare help your opp than you and you will miss the value when he folds OTF. I don't like 2x also for the reason that after a call in front of you, opps start getting better pot odds and become more inclined to call. There is also a bigger possibility to get squeezed when you will have to decide between going AI or folding a really strong hand.
I like what Luischiavo told about the flop situation. The flop is dry, you don't have an Ace and you don't want to fold right away. There are not many second best hands in the opp's range which would pay you and you would like to keep them in the range so you can't collect any value so far.

I agree with luischiavo, the 3x raise is just way too big for this stage.
I believe 2x ~2.5x would be fine, but I would tend to go to the lower end, minimizing the amount of chips you would be spilling.

You will get the same amount call preflop and when you hit a good flop your bet will be smaller, maybe getting even more calls.

As played I am always folding to a 3bet here, still a lot of tournament to go.

About your problem with adjusting to the antes, I believe that if you're saying that you play a very tight game, it is probably better for you to open up a little bit your range and start mini-raising more.

This will force you to improve your post-flop game a little bit and (like it did to me earlier) you'll see that you can play medium hands for value when you have it, and just folding OTF when OOP or when you don't hit the board.

Yes, I played very thight with no antes and had to adjust, playing a lot more post flop and learning to get more value from calling ststions with hands like 2nd pair.
As TomClassy said, I agree on making 3x when there is a call behind you, but in this case he is Open-Raising and I still think 2x will be optimal.
Cheers!

Is very interesting topic because for long time be ultra tigth in the first levels is a strategy very profitable in sitandgoes, and know, with antes since first level it let me doubt about the risk vs profit of postflop game in sitandgoes.
henceforth I would take care about sizes since 80/40 level.
