AJ vs thin (value) bets

Why do you 3b preflop. The player is wide limper but when he raises preflop he has 4 PFR...
Fold on turn. What are you hoping for?

I raised preflop for value.
I was cautious for the re-raise but villain bets so thin I wanted to go for one of the 3 tens. OTT I almost got a 5:1 and I believe I could stack off here against villain. I was thinking quite long during this hand but I think it's the same old reason 'no equity nor FE = fold'.

Against a guy who raises 7% I would just call. Here you could fold OTT even if the bet is super small.

Agreeing with my foreposters. Usually I also 3bet preflop in this spot, especially vs. a minraising unknown. But you got some reads on him. Even preflop... forget about "standard plays"

I think 3-betting is overkill if you have no reads besides his PFR.

your required equity is ~16% so I think you can call here also it depends very much on villain doing this with TT or AJs. If he 4-bets with JJ+ AQs+ you should fold.
As the river does not change anything and you get even better pot odds you have to call again as you still have the same equity on a blank and the pot odds (and hence ur required equity) get even better.
I would not recommend to shove as there is not much you can fold out here (maybe AQ/AJ/TT) and you only have a gutshot against everything he calls with.

As played preflop: I am folding on the flop. (He 4-bet pre, where do you think a bottom pair and a gutter is going to take you? Free showdown? Nah...)

Preflop: I'm torn between call and 3bet but he probably calls a lot and we can probably take a lot of money with TP so I'd 3bet. He raises with broadways, the occasional pair and the occasional whim (like "I haven't played in a while" or "This is my lucky hand").
I'm surprised to see him 4bet. I see him with lots of broadways, mostly the stronger ones. I'd call as well because I have position and I'm probably better postflop.

Flop: I fold here. This flop is way too good for his hand and he doesn't seem like a very agressive player. I think I'd call with AQ or A♠:J♠:

I think the flop is a fold. KQJ flop just hits his range waaaaay too hard. Unless you are planning on turning your hand into a bluff on a later street, you can fold the flop.
