PokerStars - $0.05 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 121.2 BB
Hero (SB): 189.4 BB
BB: 126.8 BB
UTG: 369.4 BB
MP: 101.4 BB
CO: 97 BB

Hero posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has K♦ A♣

fold, fold, CO raises to 3.4 BB, fold, Hero raises to 9.2 BB, fold, CO calls 5.8 BB

Flop: (19.4 BB, 2 players) T♣ 5♥ 7♦
Hero checks, CO bets 9.2 BB, fold

CO wins 18.6 BB

reg.

MIght be that vs BTN its too weak to give up.

Maybe c/c once and fold turn?

I have lot of 3bet bluffs preflop, so they might think I have nothing and bet and steal pot.

But maybe will not bet on turn.

One thing also maybe we have to pay attention - preflop open size. Maybe this is likely strong range.

Yes, this was a xc for me. Your hand has enough equity to see turn. In 3bet pots, we want to avoid folding flop and AK may be one of the best hands in which you do not need to.

We can call flop but be prepared to fold if not improved on turn.

Maybe it is best to refrain from three-bet bluffs before you have a made plan of how to play postflop? How to play overcards that missed the flop should most definitely be in your game plan. Until then, it is much better to just call preflop.

In the present spot, there is no known definite answer, except that check-folding seems a bit weak. Take this board and then make up a range from your three-bet preflop range. Make sure a check doesn't mean check-fold. You can do this either by mixing check-fold and check-raise, or mixing check-fold, check-call and check-raise. Perhaps only check-fold and check-call. In the latter case, make sure the entire range isn't too weak. Perhaps throw in TT with intention to check-raise turn. Whatever... just have a plan.

Squeezing and value three-betting OOP is fun, but not nearly as fun when you get called and don't know what to do.

I would check call this OTF. Check folding seems too weak.

totally agree, XFold is wak play on this flop, I think bet-fold or XCall will be better.
