Forgot to update! Yesterday was a day of setups. 589 hands, -$7.79. Today went better, ran a bit above EV but as we saw in the graph, EV goes up and down but evens out eventually :f_thumbsup: Only $1 in the Pyramide today. But since I took back some profits today, and lost yesterday I am happy that I got the $5 yesterday. Not that it matters for the Challenge Bankroll anyway since I don't count it, but still! Always nice with a little comfort prize on runbad days :f_love:

I increased the volume on my regular grind this week by quite a lot, so the volume for the challenge isn't GREAT so far, but still kind of on track for the goal :f_thumbsup: Cleared the Pyramid for $2 yesterday and $2 today!

I am getting extremely exhausted though. Thankfully I take night off tonight and watch Germany play! Hopefully they perform a bit better than last game. Part of the exhaustion is probably due to the shitty weather. Rain, rain and more rain. Think I have barely seen the sun for like 4-5 days by now. :f_frown:

Hahah, you were soooo right. And today obviously just got even worse, when Sweden played quite well vs Italy just to lose anyway, sigh. But that's Sweden in a nutshell, thankfully I got 2 teams to cheer for!

Thanks! How many tables I play depend on a lot of factors, for example how focused I am, if I feel I am in the zone or a bit distracted etc. Mostly for SH it would be 3-6 tables and FR 5-9 tables typically :) But don't take this as a recommendation for how much YOU or someone else should play, it's always better to figure out what fits your own skill, focus, gametype better! If you want to find out, start with say 4 tables for a few days and evaluate how this works for you. If zoom 2 tables. Then add or remove depending on how you feel while playing and well you can handle what happens and make reads, make good lay downs, stay focused. Just be honest with yourself and it will be alright! :f_thumbsup:

Table starting is so frustrating because of the Pyramid promotion. Tons of these idiots who buy in with 40bb and sit and limp every hand and instacheck everything down together. Then insta leave as soon as someone joins the table :f_mad: the things people will do for a few bucks... I wonder if this is considered collusion or not. If it was up to me I'd take out the banhammer :f_ugly:

Don't try this at home guys if you are playing micros and struggling with a positive wr. Herofolding is still > herocalling at micros when you are in doubt. In this spot he's basically saying he has pocket 55 or nothing, and because it is checked down with a fish 3way I am more inclined to believe it's "nothing". I also think most NL10 players would pick a 2/3 or 3/4 sizing with the 55 OTR in a checked down pot.

His play isn't that bad though, vs the majority of the player pool this actually probably works very well at NL10. :f_biggrin:

Flop: 7♥ 3♥ 10:heart: ($1.05, 3 players)

jibbmekk checks, Hero checks, raika14 checks

Turn: A♦ ($1.05, 3)
jibbmekk checks, Hero checks, raika14 checks

River: 5♦ ($1.05, 3)

jibbmekk checks, Hero checks, raika14 bets $1.10, jibbmekk folds, Hero calls $1.10

Final Pot: $3.25
Hero shows a pair of Sixes
6♣ 6♦
raika14 shows a pair of Threes
3♣ 8♣

Hero wins $3.10 (net +$1.70)

jibbmekk lost $0.30
raika14 lost $1.40

Yeah, it's a real shame that Holland is not in there this time! They'd do a lot better than Sweden for sure haha.

I do play more hands per day than I report about in here. For a few different reasons I don't want to blog publicly about my normal limits (up to and including NL50 depending on how in the zone I am), but since I'd still like to be a part of the community and contribute some updates, blog, tips etc I decided to start the Bankroll Challenge as well from $50 and grind it up over time. Also to show that it's still definitely possible to start with a small capital and build it up :) Ofc it would go quicker if I would play more hands at these limits, but since my time is limited thanks to grind on other limits, coachings, most of the year also studying etc, I am not able to put in more than this for my Challenge. :f_grin:

Hope this answers your question. :)

Thanks and I wish you and everyone else a great weekend as well! :f_love:

this is a good read and inspiring as I've recently started a challenge starting at nl2 with a 20 euro BR I'm at 34.00 euros currently still grinding away, I have come from a live background so playing online is a little different especially at nl2 there crazy lol but congrats so far on what you have achieved and it shows people it can be done from the bottom with a little patience after all lawyers and doctors didn't become them overnight they grinded from the bottom in shitty weekend jobs and countless lectures

Another GREAT article here. :f_love:

https://www.pokerstrategy.com/news/content/How-much-sleep-do-you-need-_87363/

I definitely feel that my sleep together with nutrition has the biggest impact in my life on productivity, how happy and in the zone I am etc. If I sleep just 5-6 hours one night it's almost IMPOSSIBLE for me to put up my A-game. Sleep is important for everyone, but I think it's even more important for us poker players. If we're not able to play A or B game it can lead to pretty disasterous results.

I will definitely try to improve even more in this area! :f_thumbsup:
