Pre-flop villain limps from BU and then 3-bets my raise. Considering his post flop action, in what range do you put him? Usually a lot of people like to limp/re-raise with AA-KK, AK. Do you think that's his range? In what range do you put people when they do that?

Would you have called the flop bet? What about the turn?

Imo, you dont need to raise it pre
If, then i would fold to his raise because against his range you are big underdog oop
Flop is fold too
JJ+, AK

Isolating with this hand is standard. When he 3bets, it usually means he has a very good hand so folding is fine. Given that he 3bets so small, we can call due to pot odds, imo. I would check/fold this flop then.

limp/raise is KK/AA. I think I would just fold preflop for the sake of giving value to villain. You cannot even hope for 2p here OTF. Yes, this was a fold for me pre-flop.

I agree that limp/raise is a fish move when strong - AA/KK.
I do not mind folding preflop.
As played, fold turn.

1) I think we have to fold on pre. Why? Just look at your opponent VPIP: 41.94, PFR: 0.00
He now 3b IP, but he is natural phone. So, he mostly has QQ+, AK - vs this range we are dominated.

2) So, we called a min raise - now we have a strong plan - to get 2pair only. We got paired board. Can we beat AA on 88X board with KQ? No, only if T: K R:K
If you decided to try to get out it with backdoor flush - you have no clean outs. Youur opponent could have As and you will loose the whole syack.
My opinion, the way you played on the flop is wrong. Fold vs CB flop on this board.

Thank you, guys.

So most of you would have folded pre-flop. And you also agree that limp/raising pre is usually a very strong hand like AA-KK.
I agree that I should have folded this hand pre-flop.

Now, about my raise pre-flop, it's not an iso-raise (because there were just villain and me), but it's a good hand to raise against a limper. Would you have raised like I did or just checked behind?

No, the raise there was fine man :) Just with the re-raise all alarm bells should go off ;)

Raising the limper is most of the time a good move, even w weaker hands (limpers usually call a lot to see the flop, and folds whem they missed). That said, even already isolated against the fish, the raise is good. On the other hand, agree w the mates that the bells should ring whem he 3bets.

You are right, it is not an iso-raise but just a raise as there is noone to act behind except villain. Even though your raise is good as you want to narrow his range.
