how was the right play here?

Hello there, first of all don't post results; It will allow you to see not results orientated answers. Also something went wrong, blinds are 400/800 and SB can't OR 1,200;

Anyway, in this spot you have obligatory show/(call if SB shows) w Ax+ w 8bb eff.; You played it correctly!

I’m not sure how the converter works, but it’s also possible the SB makes it 800(BB)+1.200(raise)= 2.000 in total here. If I was the SB I would shove with my entire range for 8bb effective. So I would only fold if he’s normal shoving in these kind of situations. Then this could be a tell, but in normal circumstances I would push here too.

The fact he didnt just open shove for 8BB effective does look a little odd, but that depends on how he had been playing previously
