I think I would just call OTR.

I would also just call his betting and betsizing seems consistent from flop to river, so imo any hand we beat on the flop we also beat later on. We mmight not like a re-raise when we raise river and not sure if getting called by worse either if we raise.

Just call. If you raise you will face only better hands.

I also vote for calling. I don't see worse hands calling our raise. Qx could call a minraise, though, but I would rather just call.

I just called, but I though for missed value. He had KQ,

He will not call a raise (push) with that hand...

I agree with everyone else, just call, a raise would probably isolate you against better hands.

When I read the HH and OP I was thinking (maybe hoping) that you were thinking about becoming enterprising. (You have shown tendencies before to become enterprising:D) Now, and this is important, if you raise river you are doing it as a BLUFF hoping to fold out small sets. Raising river for value is just horribly incorrect thinking.

Why don't you raise the hand OTF? You have his 3bet calling range pretty much crushed. He basically has QQ and the very unlikely A4cc 65cc that are ahead. You probably should have all the combodraws in your 3betting range. Thus, I think I would raise here with a pretty wide range.

As played I wonder if there might be value in raising the river. The thing is, your raise allin is almost a clickback ($8.25 more). I think, his most likely holding that beats us is AQdd but I can't see him folding many (other) top pair hands when he is getting 1:6.

It is because we have a bluff catcher, nothing else. Best treatment with bluff catchers is to call with them. Never raise them for "value" that you just imagine is there.

I agree the raise is marginal, but I don't really think he can show up with anything other than AQdd if he beat us. And he might call with his top pair hands because the raise is so small

If he is bluffing (which would be your chance to win this pot versus e.g. me), then you want him to continue to do so. Trying to win more than three bets (that is, his flop bet + a raise from you, and further bullets from you on turn and river) will never succeed unless your opponent has decided that you should be donated to. This doesn't happen in poker every day.

EDIT: A good donker will reraise trying to get it in here whether he is bluffing or not. Best tactics against that is to smooth call. It is the only way to put him in a tough spot (fire turn or give up). By raising, you make him play correctly and will have to fold to a re-pop. Versus bad donkers (like this one), you still cannot extract more money by raising. So just call.

I guess you are right. I really struggle to evaluate a donkers range. Would you say that we should push a lot of air hands OTR? Mainly AXcc.

Pushing river here would be a advanced play (and very definitely a bluff), so it would have to be your decision. I think our hand this time does better by just calling. True, a busted FD could push. But this is up to you:)
