To me villain move was screaming re-steal since I had a tight image, and I needed the double up to further advance in the tourney. I think I did the right call here for the coin flip even if I was deep stack.

In a CO vs blinds situation with M of 6 AQ is the nuts here for me too. nh.


with caller would raise it up bit more preflop and if you think you are pot commited anyway push it preflop

nh unlucky with the race

i shove it directly preflop


i think this is a nice hand
aq is a hand were you want to go broke with
you can push it directly preflop. but here in the co your bet might look like a steal and somebody with a weaker hand might think he can resteal you.
and you would love to see that

so the normal raise looks pretty good to me.
although a smaller raise to 4000 would be better because it doesnt show you are comitted anyway !

it depends a bit on the type of players in the blinds.
if they are willing to call a big all in, MOVE IT
if they are agressive and will reraise you to drive you out, raise normally.
