I had raised before BvB and he had just called and bet the turn after I checked. He had seemed to be more aggressive since he had got the CL
I don't think calling is ever an option here OOP due to me only having 11BB behind and the board being so draw heavy
A shove looks weaker than a small 4bet here as well?

I think you played it well, because it makes not much sense to do something else than shoving on the flop with so less behind and he will call pretty much with his entire min raise range most likely.

Cheers,

Another option was to c/r the flop yourself against an aggro player in like 30%.

This is something I dont think I do enough, but would it not look suspicious to c/r on this board? It's a very draw heavy board so if I have any kind of pair I am going to want to bet it and play the hand quickly? I guess if I check I could have something like A high so he might take a stab at it

yes, I think that your opp will be often stabbing himself coz the board well-connects to his calling range. You also give him an opportunity to semibluff shove his draws when you raise him. You definitely want to raise bigger then a minraise to have an opportunity to shove OTT.

I think you're right about him stabbing at that flop if I check, I was just excited about having a hand and wanting to bet bet bet.......
The only problem is, if he doesnt stab at it, there are so many bad turn cards

If you would check/raise the flop you will be shoving I guess, but then you take the risk of a free card and then you will get only action of the top of is range.

Yeah the c/r play is definitely player dependant, do not want to give a free card on that board

Not sure whether it is the case here, but I suppose that to a thinking opponent your cbet lead out would often mean a strong made hand or a draw, coz bluff cbetting is profitable just to balance out your value range a little bit. I may be mistaken but I like his minraise for information and fold to a shove coz if he calls your bet OTF he should be ready to lose more or to go broke with his hand on later streets unless he is on a draw and doesn't hit.

Given the fact that your lead out is mostly for value, I feel obliged to add a c/r move for some cases. He may be on a draw but he also want to push out from the pot right away with no hand or a weak pair and you will fold on such boards often enough to make his donk bet profitable and he may decide that you are on a draw if you c/shove (agree that shoving is better OTF than OTT) and hero call with some stupid 1 pair
