im playing up to 4 tables at the time, i have a HUD, and yeah, id like a lot of fishes at the table :P also a lot of tables to choose from when finding a table.

Definitely PokerStars would be your best choice

Hey AutomaticPoker,

Player reviews never give a good indication of the worth of a poker room as most reviews are posted by players who have had a bad experience. You can check out some reviews at PokerScout.

I have accounts at Party, Titan and 888 and have had no major issues and am happy to continue playing on all three rooms.

Cheers :f_drink:

Hello everyone,

My name is Tim and this is the first time I have ever decided to take my poker game a little more seriously. I have had some experience playing the game with friends during college in a casual setting, but I have never tried to better my game in any significant way. I have been playing on BOVADA poker for a while now but I never know which games to play.

I have been winning the most playing a conservative short stack strategy play $3.00 triple up sit and go tournaments, but I am trying to learn how to play cash games a little more. I really like playing in a live setting but whenever I am in a cash game with a $1/$2 buy in its hard for me not to tilt when I could lose $50 plus dollars due to bad beats on the river. Any suggestions on how I could start getting better and more comfortable with a live setting?

Hey TheExecutionerRNMD,

Regular HU cash has been removed by most of our partners. Stars/Tilt only spread fast fold HU, 888/MPN (24hBet, PKR) don't have them at all which leaves Party and iPoker skins as your major options for HU. However as you can see from the attached screenshots, they are suffering from the same problem that caused their removal from other rooms. Regs won't play each other. They sit on tables by themselves. If a fish joins, they play. If another reg joins, they leave.

iPoker (via Titan)

Party

Mid stakes MTTs are plentiful at 888/Party

888 ($10-$50)

Party (up to $11)

($11-$85)

Regards

Laz

Hey Tim,

Welcome to the forums. :welcome:

I strongly recommend checking out w34z3l's 6max walkthrough - (microstakes edition). This is a great resource to help you bust out of the micros.

Hi:
I have been having a bit of a decision on where to play. I play micro and low limit in sit&gos, mtt, and sometimes in ring games. Hard to find a fixed limit low stake Hold em or 7 card. Wouldn't mind learning Omaha either.
I prefer full ring tournaments (8+ at table) and play 6-10 hrs a day on average. (forced retirement, so lots of free time, but not a lot of money)
Live in Ontario Canada so eastern time zone and have been at PokerStars for about 7 weeks.
Any suggestion?

Considering NetBet although the exchange would kill a $100 bil from Cdn to euro. If I was to actually win enough to withdraw some, how good are they at doing so. Will prob use PaySafe cards.... EEEEK did the math... it turns into just over 67Euros

guess Net bet is NOT an option for me. I cannot open an account because the recapta image will not load.
I tried all the trouble shooting options, even loaded Chrome, to no avail.
There link on the page "contact us" does nothing.

tried all this:
reCAPTCHA isn't displaying properly on Internet Explorer, what do I do?
reCAPTCHA cannot display correctly if the IE Compatibility View is enabled for google.com. We suggest that you remove google.com from your list of sites that have Compatibility View enabled.

Turn off Compatibility view

IE 10
In Internet Explorer, press the Alt key to display the Menu bar, or press and hold the address bar and select Menu bar.
Click Tools and select Compatibility View settings.
Select google.com under "Websites you've added to Compatibility View."
Click Remove.

after 2.5 hours messing around, guess I have no option but to stick to BingoStars, too bad I had not known of this site before I signed up there for the bonus

Hey bakuncho,

Your best options would appear to be PokerStars, Party or MPN Network (24hBet and PKR)

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Hey carlmachete,

If you play fast-fold poker, you can go just about anywhere. On some smaller sites it may be difficult to multi-table regular tables except at peak times.

Be sure to check out what bonus offers you are eligible for. This will cost you nothing and will give you lifetime Bronze status.

Bronze will give you a tracked room to earn SPs, the ability to send friend requests and PMs through our community tool as well as opening up more strategy and videos.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Regards

Laz

Hey CdnWayne,

Did you sort out the CAPTCHA problem out? You should also have a look at 888 and Party who have the next best MTT schedules outside of Stars/Tilt.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Laz
