Normal I would bet the flop a little bit more for value. I think a bet of 5k works better. Also it’s good to know what kind of info you have of villain during the hand and your own though process was. Then it’s easier to give feedback here.

What is the worst hand a reg would bet for value on this river in your opinion?

I would say your whole line looks a little bluffy, standard SB steal open sizing, followed by a very small bet, followed by a half pot bet size on a banana card (not many straights in either players range, but he definitely has more), followed by a check on the river which let your opponent barrel with air expecting to get a lot of folds. If I were Villain here, I would have put you on QJ+ or a low pair, and probably fired on the river also.

The standard open was fine, especially if you are concerned about range balancing, but I would have bet bigger on the flop. Villain doesn't have many 8's here.
