Recently I played this hand and I won with a strong bad beat. I was multitabling and I saw that I won the hand a few moments later, I had only 1 out so I thought I had lost and I kept playing the other tables like I had zeor chances to win after the cards were face up.
But ok enough with all that, the only reason that I post the hand is not to discuss the bad beat but another big problem that occurs from that..... A NIT's all-in check/raise after he 4bet preflop can only mean 1 thing, the nuts, but how easy is to fold T♠:T♦: on a K♠:T♥:6♠: flop at a 4bet pot? Well is mathematically wrong to fold most of the time but when you are 170bb deep and your opponent who is a total nit with 10% VPIP and 5% PFR zoom player 4bets from the SB and then check/raises you on that flop, I think you will be better to throw that hand away and run for the hills!!!
Actually I took all my time on that hand and then I called his all-in knowing that I'm beaten just to see if my read was right, a friend of mine was there with me and told that he has not Kings and he has Aces at this spot and I should call (totally wrong). I offer him to put a bet with me for the smae amount of $17 that I had on the table, if my opponent had Kings he would give me the $17 if he had any other hand I would give him the same amount. It was just a desperate try to give the hot potato of my decision to another guy bu he didn't accept the bet haha!
The fact is that this kind of players are often very cautious postflop, sometimes they will put all their stack in the pot with Aces on the flop but is very rarely and not for 170bb deep, tell me if I'm wrong but as the hand shows the only wrong thing here was the call ![]()
So what will you do at this spot??? See the hand that follows and tell me your opinion
