Hello guys.

iPoker - €0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (UTG): 116.8 BB
MP: 101.7 BB (VPIP: 24.77, PFR: 18.99, 3Bet Preflop: 5.41, Hands: 673)
CO: 100 BB (VPIP: 31.13, PFR: 22.64, 3Bet Preflop: 8.51, Hands: 108)
BTN: 100 BB (VPIP: 22.37, PFR: 20.00, 3Bet Preflop: 14.93, Hands: 390)
SB: 82.6 BB (VPIP: 16.67, PFR: 16.67, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 6)
BB: 75.9 BB (VPIP: 53.85, PFR: 38.46, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 14)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has K♣ A♣

Hero raises to 3 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, BB calls 2 BB

Flop: (6.5 BB, 2 players) 3♥ 8♥ A♦
BB checks, Hero bets 5 BB, BB calls 5 BB

Turn: (16.5 BB, 2 players) 9♠
BB checks, Hero bets 12.7 BB, BB raises to 30.4 BB, Hero???

Villain as you can see by the stats is most likely a fish. Pre, flop and CBetting turn I think are all standard. The problem arise once villain c/r me. He seems like an agressive dude, but does he have any worse hands here? Does he ever c/r single pair here? I think that he would want to call me down with those types of hands.

What do you guys think?

Regards.

You can usually fold vs turn raises with less than 2 pair. Aggro fish might do this sometimes with stupid hands but he has sets and 2 pair in his range here and some strong draws like J♥:T♥:..

I have a hard time with this time, shortstack + only sets beats ya. I'd not mind seeing the river.

I think this kind of loose opponent will 3b AT+, may be from AJ+. Anyway, turn Comes in and do we really think he will XR turn with A2,A4-A7? I guess it is most of the time 2p+. Also, his 89 is now 2paired, his raise has pretty nice value sizing with about 3X. If we do not have any read about his play with draw in a such way I guess it is fold.

I think vs a possible agro fish is an eaasy call.
He"s value range might be A9 (6c) , 89(9c) 99(3c) = 18c and maybe some times A8(6c) A3(6c) 33(3c) 88(3c) 18c (does not expect to see those to much). Lets say 25% of the time => 4-5c.
So in total there might be somethink like 22 -23c which beats us but against we have some EQ. ~ 10%
And there may be some C of blufs for him like JT TQ JQ 67 56 75 flush draws, maybe some 9x flush draws etc.

So vs a range like that we have 30% EQ which is very good because we will need only ~22% to BE when call.

There are some problems. 1. your range is very bluff heavy and we only have 14 hands on this villain so we should treat him as unknown and usually ppl have very value heavy range here. 2. what if he bluffs and misses his draw OTR, do you think he is not going to shove the rest? If he does that we have to fold.

Just fold. You are vs 2p+ here most of the time.

@la55si

1 i dont think that my range is bluff heavy there, i give to vilan 12 c of semi-blufs which for me seems resonable. he mayhave some Ahxh....And if he"s realy an agro fish and could have there some random blufs then our fold is pretty insane.

2 I dont think that i undestand corectly...
If he miss hiss draws OTR i dont see why we should fold when we will have very good pots-ods and he might bluff some of the busted draw.

I might agree with this range if it was on the flop but really having that kind of semi bluffs (low FD + GS) is not so common OTT. Actually ppl bluff raise turns very little. That is why I think it is a bit too much and if you take only a couple of bluff combos out you don't have the required equity anymore.

On your second point, I think you understood correctly because you said he might bluff some busted draws. He shouldn't do that with all of those draws, more likely he has 1 or 2 combos and our equity is suddenly under 15%.

One thing that we have to remember is that we are playing against unknown. Most of the population will not xr turn as a bluff and they will not shove the rest as a bluff. Hero said that villain seems like he is aggressive but we have only 14 hands and we have seen him play only 7 hands. We can't base our decisions on that.
