Hello tmannie!

In general it is advisable to have a slightly more conservative bankroll the more tables you play! There is a simple reason for this. The more tables you play the less you can focus on specific spots and the less time you have for each individual hand, to make the most profitable decision, hence your winrate will be a bit lower. If your winrate is lower, downswings have more significant influence on your bankroll and therefore i would advice you to find the optimal balance for you! Try adding in one table each time and don't start off to fast!

I hope you guys all had a nice week! As you might know, today is the day for another update on my road to the 1k goal! I knew from the beginning of this week, that I wouldn’t have a lot of time to play poker, because of my exams I had to do, but I am still a little disappointed with my results this week! I just couldn’t get volume in and so I ended up only playing 5,8k hands this week!

This brings my total amount of hands played this month to a lousy 60k hands. My plan was to play 20k hands each week, but I failed this goal for this month. I don’t want to search for any excuses, I just want to tell you guys that I am still aiming for 20k hands a week for the next months and that I hopefully stay within the plan.

There is still one positive thing for this week! I finally reached NL10 and I already played a couple hands at this limit! It is way too early to give feedback about the strength of the field and all the habits of the players at this limit, but what I can tell you so far is, that the overall aggression and 3betting frequency is way higher than at NL5. To be honest, I like the increased level of aggression so far, because I know how to handle it profitably.

By reaching NL10 I also won the second little side competition against Marcus! ♦
He owned me 4BI of NL5 , which equals 20$. This is also a nice little boost to my first NL10 shot!

My plan for the following week is to mark all hands, where I am not 100% sure if I did a good move while playing, and analyze them after each session. I might use some software as well as some simple basic maths for this purpose! I might also post some hands throughout the week as I stated in the update last week! So I hope you guys are all looking forward in getting some hands for discussion! :b

Hi guys, time for an new short update!

I've takeing abit more easy approach now and feel abit less stressed now. I feel good about my game then i find some bad beats and i start to tilt abit then i often close the session and takeing a break. But the tilt isnt good probably lost some stack because of it. I need to try to cool my self and dont get upset about it.

As you've have seen i lost the side bet this time to Fabian but im not giving up even tho its hard to get some good results atm. I'll come for him and after the next side bet pay!

What’s up guys…? Week 5 has finished and the results are in the books. This week of grinding went okeyish, not really good but it could have been worse for sure. Grinding NL10 has a special flair , it is kinda different compared to NL5. At my first 20k hands at this level I’m swinging quite a bit! I started off in the red as I did at any other limit so far as well, which is kinda funny, then it went really well for about 10k hands, followed by a really bad run the next 7k hands. I almost went all the way back to zero….

This was the point where i started to doubt my play a little bit, but I knew i shouldn’t because it has just worked well on the lower limits. There isn’t that great of a difference between NL10 and NL5 and I think i have adopted to the slight difference just well, so I told myself that I just need to keep playing, which I did. Without thinking about all those standard bad beats and with a high discipline not to get tilted too much I managed to grind my roll all the way back up to my previews peak when suddenly everything started to go wrong again! I need to be honest, I was a little bit annoyed that I went through all this swing in just such a short amount of time, but I am feeling confident that I have the weapons and willpower to crush this limit! All I need to do is get more hands in, keep the grind going and forget about all the bad beats and coolers!

I had plans on posting some interesting hands this week, but I didn’t find enough time to prepare the hands and post them. I did quite a bit of off table work this week, but I mainly focused on some equity calculations and training videos of my course. Besides that I reviewed some of my marked hands but I couldn’t get through all of them. Therefore I will try to get this done by next week and maybe I can then post some interesting hands!

Hello Community!

First up, I know I haven’t been active on the forum nor did I post any hands to discuss, but I have to admit, that I simply can’t find enough time to watch over my database and prepare any hands for the forum! I said I would share some hands with you, but I couldn’t hold that promise, I’m sorry guys!

To be honest, I am not a real fan boy of discussing hands on forums anyways, because in my opinion it is quite hard to filter out good advice from bad! I like to think hands through on my own but don’t get me wrong, I do take advice from others, when I know that they know what they are talking about. This all might sound a little selfish and stubborn, but it really isn’t. I just find more value in getting advice from coaches or other proven sources. I hope you guys don’t hate on me because of that, I’m here in the first line, to track my results and show to you how to crush the micro stakes. I take my motivation from all of your replies and wishes, that’s what makes me happy and keeps me on top of my feelings!

Now lets talk about the results for this week!
After my first swingy week at NL10 I managed to book a nice profit this week. I played 17,5k hands which is less than my goal but more than I was hoping for. I am really stressed out because of university at the moment and I need to study a whole lot, so I am really happy that I got this much volume in anyways. The last session of this week was just a dream! I started off with a nice bluff catch for a whole stack in the first hand , then grinded the sh*t up to +5BI after only 1k hands! I felt like god on the field and I really enjoyed this upswing after all the coolers I had to face the last week.

After playing almost 100k hands I thought it would be time to show you guys my overall graph and some of my stats, if you are interested in it. Feel free to point out some stats that might seem weak to you or which you want more information on.

As you can see, we are more than half way through the goal already! Now it is time to stay focused and aim for that 1k goal. This week I hope I will reach NL25 and have my first steps there, after not having played at this limit for over 1,5 years now! I have played at this limit before but I failed miserably. I have improved quite a bit since then, and I feel confident enough to beat this level as well now, but we will see what time has to offer. :b
