I think vilain calls with AT because he doesn't believe hero after his check flop, since fews hands have improved on the board, hero can only beat him with a few Jx checked and some flush from outer space, whereas all the rest is a bluff.
my guess :J♥:Q♣:
i think co steals wide like 22+ Ax+, K7+,J8+,Q8+
after check check on the flop he would not bet all the time as a decent player against a raise from the button.
the call on the turn is okay to do after check check on the turn.. top pair decent kicker.
just the call on the river shows that the villian has no flush on the river so he calls behind with showdown value
I think villian had ATo, its a strong hand to call 3 bet preflop in position, i dont think its AJ, because he would bet to the check in the flop, to defense his top pair.
Villains has Pocket 99!
I gave him a pretty tight 3-bet Flatting range preflop(could be wider since he is in position!) including 99+, AQo+, AJs+, KQs and started ruling them off...
Hero has a pretty important blocker in his hand, the King of spades.
The turn bet is pretty big, so that should eliminate alot of hands, like offsuit unmade hands such as KQo, AQo+, since he didnt reraise him on turn i took out pocket JJ and TT, i assume he would raise those like 80% of the time.
so to river we go with AJ, AQs(spades), some combinations of AK, 99 and QQ+, Since he didnt Raise the river, he doesnt have the nut flush so AQ is out. also i think he would have done something different most of the time with AA, KK and QQ, like 4-betting pre, or raising the turn and since you say it should be a Herocall, i rule these hands out.
So im left with AK and 99's to make the hero call. Heros KQ blocks out a few combos of AK, but there still is more combos of that than there is pocket 99's.. but i still believe Villain would end up showing 99's here on river as a herocall. he could be calling the river with AK with the Ace of spades, but that hand would block many combos from heros bluffing range on this hand.
Co has AJ,slow play in flop, value bet in turn,Hero pay for project,co value bet in river, hero pay for fish.
I would say villain has AJ.
Hero doesn't rep much by checking flop and then betting blank turn. Easy calldown for TPTK.
1 point for the correct answer
[*] 9♠:8♠:
1 point for the correct explanation
[*] Starting hand of 9♠:8♠: from CO would be in his OR and Call 3-Bet IP Range
[*] FLOP: CO thinks that Hero could make a slowplay and CO wants to hold Hero in this hand -> Check too
[*] TURN: CO thinks it could be a Bluff-Bet from SB or now he stopped slowplay...CO has a FD & OESD but Odds vs. Pot-Odds are 33 % vs. 40 % (not the best spot for calling)...but CO knows that Hero is over-confident -> Call
[*] RIVER: CO thinks "Yes I hit my FD...but WTF why Hero bets again so big??? Would he hit his FD with A high or just bluffing me?...I'm not sure but I would never fold a Flush and I'm to shy for Raise" -> Call
My guess is T9s.
Hero would cbet the majority of his flushdraws, Jx and overpairs. Easy bluff catch for vilain.
T9!
Checks behind Flop because it's the best play and calls you down later. You can have stronger pairs including a Ten with better kicker and also a flush, but there are other draws and Ahighs that would also play this way.
Devido a passividade do vilão acredito que ele esteja com um Flush Draw, porem ele não voltou all in no Hero, pois não é um Flush Nuts ou Semi Nuts
