Poderia até ser um Draw tipo 85, mais acredito que se for um bom vilão ele iria tentar dar Raise para uma fold equit

Hero knew that he was playing against a fish, but he was highly surprised to see his opponent's hand. That means his opponent doesn't have any straight draws or any pairs. The only possible cards he can have are random cards like A2, J3 OR he got nuts ( 89 )during the flop. There are too many combinations of random cards which he might have like A2, J3, so the highest chance is that he has 89. He tried to slowplay his 89 and was expecting hero to bet on the river again.
His range must be huge here , there's a ton of hands he could have, if you were suprrised with his hand, I guess it could be TT for a set, 89 like from rounders or 22 bluffcatching ♦

Era sicuro della sua mano, quindi potrebbe avere 66, 77, TT oppure 89 e visto che hero ha puntato dopo flop e turn, ha pensato che puntasse anche al river così da fare forse un check/raise

Hmm if it's a typical fish playing then he probable has J,Q,K,A with low kicker, which explains his pre-flop play (in fishy terms). However, since he is calling Hero on both flop and turn he most have something. Not the nuts but rather a straight draw or a low pair. My guess is that the fish has Q8 off suited and gets exited about the Open-ended draw on turn, allowing himself to call on an additional street. And when Hero checks on the river is the fish to passive in his playing style for even pursuing a bet that he choose to check without much fuss.
I would be surprised how bad the fish was playing.
vilan should have 89s. when he only calls the cbet on the flop he must have the nuts or a bad draw, cuz of the board is more likely he have the nuts, with a draw he probabily would reraise to try get the pot already. He could have 10 x, put since the hero was surprise he must have the nuts
Vilian have 22 and pay c-bets most of the time. Expect to beat AK or any not flop pair hand. Have chance to flop set.
