My guess: A spades and any remaining 10.

Villain has the confidence that Hero cannot have the nut flush. Also, the lack of C-bet on the flop (check-check) gave Villain a bit of confidence that Hero did not hit anything. Hero's bet on turn when the totally inocuous and neutral 2 appears, even more raises the suspicion of Villain that this is a bluff.

In fact, most players who hit a flush draw on the flop, don't just wait and check. So, Villain had enough reasons to believe that Hero did not hit a flush.

So, Villain guessed correctly that Hero does not have a top pair and does not have a flush. And Villain's second best pair is good.

A♣:Q♥:
strong regular, he is putting Hero on KQ or K9, thus hoping to win a showdown after a herocall

"SB HERO ($400) 228bb" probably $912 instead of $400

Villains thought process: "On this flop top pairs, overpairs, two pairs, sets, have to defend, as too many draws out there and many turn cards may kill the action (:Ax::Kx::Qx: :9x: any :spade: ). A♠:K♠:, A♠:Q♠:. 8♠:9♠:, 7♠:8♠:, 6♠:7♠: are nuts here, and also should bet on the flop while still with equity. and those are only the flushdraws possible in hero's range. Why isn's hero betting here? Not a very strong hand, if turn will be blank will have to bet again out of position and still river may be ahead. So he has some weak pot controlling or drawing hands. Turn card 2 - absolute blank. And he bets. Probably won't bet with , T9, 99, 88 to catch bluffs, so most likely have drawing hand KQ, AK, AQ, 89. But AK and AQ have some showdown value and no need to turn them into bluff. KQ and 89 mostly dont. My hand blocks his outs into the nuts. 2,3,4,5,6,T,J,A are ok rivers for me then. Rivers comes 5♠: that is ok as hero doesn't have flush draws. So I am herocalling :profit:
Wow, that is some sick story I have composed

preflop: 7s8s is in his range to call 3bet vs SB
flop: hero x bih. because he wants to be x/reised
turn: standart call with FD
River: ok is just call with weak flush.

Our check on the F convinced him that we do not have a flush draw with at least 1 overcard, as we would be semi-bluffing with it. We cannot have an overpair for the same reason - would not x F with it. So the only danger for him is if we have a J. Therefore it is reasonable for him to be calling on all streets with an AT.

Since CO made hero call he probably had either middle pocket pair 77-99 or pair of T. I will go with 10 9s, he decided to call river because hero didn't bet flop flush draw
