A very important CLUE is "in 2006 Villain would be probably called a maniac" !

A maniac would call or raise any hand.

A tight player would 3-bet only with top hands.

So, my guess for Villain is: K-2 or Q-2 - if I must pick ONE hand - it is K-2.

Villain 3-bets with his K-2, which is typical for maniacs, even if now it is "a modern way to bluff".

Then, he hit a pair, and of course, as all donks believe, he believed that either his bottom pair controls the Universe or he could bluff his opponent out of the pot !

I exclude A-K, A-Q, pocket pairs and the other decent hands (even Q-10 and K-10), because of the description "maniac" given in the description above. I exclude overpairs and hands with 10 and 7, because "bluff" was included in the same description.

A player who 3-bets with A-K is not a "maniac". he is just a normal solid aggressive player.

I guess it is AK, 45s,T9s. So, there is no sense to bet OTR with T9s bcs sometime we have SDV with event weak TP, but overbetting make sense with nuts or air. So, Turn probably improved villain's hand (he increased his bet size to 2/3, OTF it was less than 1/2). Also, vs preflop caller OOP we sometime have SDV with AK vs missed AJ-AQ(24 combos). I guess in blinds war JJ+ at that limits could easily shove 4b shove preflop.
Anyway, i think it is 54s.

Vilão tinha 7A, trincou no 7, e foi levando o heroi até o river, onde finalizou com all in. Heroi perdeu feio.

In position bb vs sb 3-bet bluff, if called will play in position, and good playability hand.
On the flop hit gutshot and backdoor, not enough to win, need fold equity, so bet. Villain represents here value range 22, 77, TT+
On the turn collects some more equity and represented a strength earlier, so continue semi-bluff. Here villains value range even increased 89 and 66 (semi-bluffs on the flop)
On the river villain just continues to represent pretty strong hand trying to get rid of top pairs, overpairs

QQ

A pocket pair which hit the flop, and TT is much more probable than 77 or 22 as BB would flat with 77 or 22 preflop.
My logic is that the villain hit a very strong hand (fullhouse), otherwise he would not go all in on R when fullhouse and straight are possible. The other possible strong hand besides fullhouse which he could have is a straight, but it is unlikely as he would not 3-bet PF with 98s. Also, 66 is much less likely.

84s, preflop is too week to call, we have gut shot and back door flush draw and since it's good flop for bluffing we CB, turn improves our hand with double belly straight and flush draw so we CB again, river blocks his set of 7s and since we would play the same with overpairs and 10 10 it's good enough spot to shove
