There are definitely times during the day when my games are much softer. It varies with each day/week/month but the state of mid-high stakes hypers is constantly changing.

tonypmm,
well i used report as i explaned but there is no ROI stat there, only bb\100. yea there are also net winnings but i dont think its more presentable, its in chips as i understand. bb\100 is also chips though =\
no, to judge by "general impression" is not a good idea. statistics only

lessthanthree,
no i dont think its different time every month not to mention day\week. it should be the same time range everyday (probably weekends might differ). so you dont try cheking some stat filters to see what time is the softest to play? you defenately have enough sample for that =)

Different weeks should be different in softness too. The clearest example is the salary day in Sweden (the last Friday of the month) when gamblers get pocket money to donate :f_grin: Another example is the last day of a month at sites with VIP programs - they're traditionally infested by regs because many of them procrastinate meeting rake targets until the last hours  For the same reason the first days of a month should be softer as these regs are burnt out.

I'll give you an easy example.

January/November/December are notoriously tough games because of the SNE race.

For week to week, it seems more random. I also find that Mondays (ET) are the softest days for my games.

WCOOP/SCOOP/TCOOP/Golden SnGs weeks also affect the difficulty of SnGs.

lessthanthree,
you compare softness between days. yes it differs. but softness by hours shouldnot (at least i think so). what i mean is even if for some reason dayA is softer than dayB the daytime softness in both days should be the same.

what do you think generally about the state of the games?

If you had to name the best 5 regs in your opinion 60-100$s who would be?

thats what im about. what do you think the softest time per day in general or you didnt try to investigate that?

ps do you remember we discussed small3bets against shoves on t20? a weird thought occured to me about that. why do we have much more suited hands in small3bet range if the main part of range is 3bet\fold?
example

BTN minrase 22+, A2s+, K2s+, Q7s+, J7s+, T7s+, 96s+, 86s+, 75s+, 65s, 54s, A2o+, K7o+, Q9o+, J9o+, T9o

calc shows my push 22+, A2s+, K8s+, Q8s+, J8s+, T8s+, 98s, ATo+, KJo+, QTo+

but this range contains so many suited hands only because its push range and suited hands have OK equity against his calling range. if we 3bet/fold this range the suited hands donot have equity advantage. so should we have the same ofsuited and suited hands for small3bet? O_O

We always 3 bet suited vs off suit hands simply because every suited hand has 4 combos vs 12 combos of off suit. There fore you can have way more hands (variety) of suited for 3 bet bluff then off suit.
Opponent can always adjust and flat to 3 bets if he knows your value to bluff ratio in 3 bets or can start 4 bet shipping wider etc.

they are much tougher than they were 1 year ago. 60s are still very beatable pre-rb. 100s+ are much much tougher imo. Haven't played a huge sample on them lately.

I have a lot of respect for Gramps and Quadz. There are a few more also.

Well, the softest time in my game is usually 0400-0800 ET. But there are some days where the peak games can be this soft. And there are some days where the games at this time are not soft.

I tend not to worry about the exact frequency of suited vs non-suited in non-AI 3bet spots because I do not expect to go post-flop (where being suited over non-suited matters). I focus more on blockers and being in-position. If you are planning to 3b/fold then it doesn't matter if you are suited or not because you can't realise your equity.

I use holdem resources.

thats exactly what i figured out( thats bad i will have to think on ranges again(

i also looked through some cash articales. they have wider open range from BTN than from SB in all charts. is it because of in-position advantage? (i dont understand it but it seems to be of importance somehow :f_grin:) why is it not so for sngs, what s the difference?

yeah it is positional and stack depth. Also the players in SnGs play much differently to cash players because of ICM. Try and raise a different range depending on who you are playing against. You can raise wider vs tight players and fish.

hmm its early moscow morning. i have not tried that interval at all. normally start to play at8-00, now finish to play at like 2-00. so never this interval. i thought though that morning time ( 8-00+) was tougher thats actually why im playing at nights now (some hours before 2-00). probably i need to try this one =\
