KQ, two pairs, ugly board

I would skip the turn cbet. What worse hands will call you when every Ax and flush beat you?

I might bet flop bigger and this turn very small and fold to a raise.

With an underbet we might get calls from some and single diamond hands. We wouldn't risk much in case villain has a better made hand. I think in this spot we don't want to bet big but I wouldn't want to give free cards to some weaker hands/draws.

I agree on valuing bigger flop here, we want to charge now because we often won't be able to later.
I hate that bet turn, you just hit the absolute worst card of the deck so you're basically semi-bluffing with a draw to a full

Bet/folding small turn can be interesting but beware doing it vs someone who might take it as a sign of weakness and thus autoraising...

Given the board on the flop you must keep the bet higher

I'm not sure about that. If we bet something like 8bb we are not risking much in case he has a better hand but we are getting some value out of pairs like Kx or single diamond hands. I don't think villain is going to raise there very often as a bluff.
This is a spot where you usually don't want to bet but checking has some downsides too -> underbetting for protection is almost always ok option.

I would cbet flop, then check this turn (probably c/c) and then c/f river. If villain checks back OTT I would c/c R.

Any turn bet is almost exclusively a bluff stopper. Better hands aren't folding and worse hands aren't calling. Well, not to a degree worth much mentioning. Note too that the bluff stopper effect has to last for two betting rounds. I seriously doubt it is worth a 65% turn bet to defend the equity. A small bet might work. I just hate check-calling a reasonably big bet. He has to be very unusual to turn KJ into a bluff here, pocket pairs folded on the flop. Besides, his range is full of Ax/9x and flushes too.
