All action happens preflop. I open aces utg, get one caller from btn, and quite big 3 bet from the big blind.
I think great, let's slowplay that, hopefully the btn comes and I try to put as much chips as I can OTF.
In the end btn ships with 77 and hits the set. I mean I am happy with the hand, I put the money in good.. but stil I'd like to have some opinions from you guys.

As you opened by raising 3bb. I don't think you really slowplayed the hand. Calling the BB shove, is a good play because you have the chance of getting more action pre-flop. You have a very easy call and get the money in good. I don't see anything wrong with your play.

I call the 3 bet from bb instead of 4 betting which is standard play. To invite the button in, this is why I say I slowplayed :).

I think it is fine to just call there since BB is already all-in. If he had a full stack I would not want to invite more players in the pot since our equity drops when we are multiway.

Cleverly played. But don't do it with QQ...

Actually NL5 QQ is premium PF to me (unless vilain nitty). So stacking PF QQ is fine IMO.

A QQ is a push, not a trapping hand.

Call me a nit but when I ship it 100b deep with QQ I am never good :why:

Sure, when called, but here you ship to shut the button out and flip against BB's weak range with dead money from the button.

Actually, you could maybe still trap with QQ, but JJ is decidedly to weak. The problem is that you absolutely don't want to see A/K (or Q) on the flop if the button calls.

Ah ok I understand, so QQ is more like a hand that you 4 bet all in to capitalize on dead money, and in the case you get called you still have some equity.

Yes, I agree with your play... QQ I would probably call as well, but then fold to raise.

No, that would be terrible. Look again at the dynamics of the hand. You must have misread somewhere.

Well, when we shove, BTN isn´t calling with worse, right? So, do we wanna push him out of the game? I´d like to play with him and put money in when the flop doesn´t bring A or K. The problem I see with this strategy, if BTN is smart, he is shoving and forcing us fold, but I don´t believe villain at micros does this. Now, tell me how wrong I am .

We have the best hand with all of AA/KK/QQ/JJ. Let's assume that.

With the bigger hands, surely you agree that it is best to trick the button to join the party. He's by the way very likely to move AI instead of calling. This is what we want.

Surely you agree that with JJ it is just to dangerous in case the button just calls? It is then best to protect (I hate that word) our equity by shoving, since an A or a K or a Q could make the button the best hand or it could let him barrel us out (holding a lower pair).

QQ fits right in the middle of the discussion. Do with it as you wish. The point to understand is that we really want all the money in whatever happens. If we just call with QQ it is in part that we hope the button will shove. We'd be delighted and call. But there is the risk he just calls. We have created a possibly dangerous situation in a pot already worth about 45 bb by giving him a "free" flop.

If we shove QQ, there is still a nice chance he'll call. Again, we'd be delighted.

Yes, that´s how I meant it. So the question is, whether taking risking and playing QQ post-lop generates more chips or we make more money just shoving, right? JJ is too risky, I wouldn´t call this one :). Last part of what you said, that there is big chance of him calling, I didn´t think so, that´s why I wrote just to call QQ.

Too risky i m o. On 41.5% of the flops (if we get to see one), an A or a K (or more) will hit. (Is it really THAT much? Maybe flawed calculation. 50 unseen. 42/50 good first flop card, 41/49 good second, 40/48 good third. Multiply -> 58.5% good flops, rest bad?)

This is a protected pot, so there is no way we'd want to bet on anything except a Q. Villain might feel differently, wake up and decide to bet his JJ/TT/99 in the pocket. There is no way we can even call a 10% pot bet if an A or a K is on the flop. Even without an A or a K, any calling of bets is dangerous because other villain's will understand it is a protected pot and be wise with their betting. There's also more bets to come. Way, way too risky i m o. Small fish might accidentally bluff us out and sharks will trick us.

With KK I am taking a calculated risk and just call.
