KQs FT with 15BB on the SB, $16.50 turbo progressive KO.

It looks like a standard push I think without knowing the paid-out structure. Especially against a tight passive BB like him. Too bad he had a big hand this time.

That´s poker! Your push was absolutely okay (+EV) but you got unlucky. Such things just happen, rarely, but they happen sometimes.

Yeah I was thinking that maybe on the FT it's better to raise and if he reshoves I fold or something, but still I had like 15BB so well. Well 1st price got 2200$ plus bounties so around 4000$ in total. But I guess there wasn't much to do here just unlucky

Something similar happened to me last Saturday. Push with AJs from the hijack (my M value was 8), BB calls and shows AK. Busto 5 places before ITM. That´s poker!

You rarely wanna induce with a hand like KQ and you definitely dont want to raise/fold blind vs blind either. With this hand and stack you should either fold (early pos) or push (middle and late position) in my opinion. Generally you dont have to play much different with this stacksize just because of the fact that it is a FT. If you have a deeper stack and there is a lot of shorter stacks on the table that could put ICM pressure on you, then you should adapt, but in this situation you played it well. Grats on the FT unlucky spot to run into
