TJ top pair in flop

I would normal bet 2bb myself with Tx for thin value in a multi way pot and if someone is raising you have an easy fold with the weak kicker you have. As played I don’t think you can raise for value on his pot size bet and I would call 1 street and give up if he’s firing again.

first of we have to look at BTNs pre flop stats. 43/25/4 looks extremly loose preflop. I would assume that he would raise a lot of AT-JT hands in this spot. He looks like he plays 60% hands in this spot.

I would lead the flop, as well. I would rather check raise slightly stronger hands (KT,QT). It is just very miserable if it checks through and an overcard comes on the turn.
Check is of course not horrible. I like to have a raising range here but I would like to be certain I beat all Tx hands he has. I think if we raise he will have T7-TQ, 77 a lot of the time. Since we are out of position we probably can't avoid to gii on t+r if he calls and the board remains save for us. Also we have to fold top pair on the flop if we get reraised. All of these make me like a call with TJ better.

You focus too much on your SPR (which is big enough that it doesn't matter). B t w, you count it before action takes place. You have 10x+ times the pot.

The important fact is that (after your failure to bet out) face a PSB (Pot Sized Bet). Your only hope is that he is bluffing in a 3-handed pot (unlikely). You could call a normal (50-70%) bet. Raising would be a bluff. Why turn TPNK (Top Pair No Kicker) into an expensive check-raise bluff? I'm sure a check-raise AI would take down the pot most of the time, but you'd be giving yourself odds of 7:39. These aren't good odds. (Risk 39 to win 7).
